Here're all the different versions of that armor design (which is to say, the reskins of the same models with different coloring):

Jormungand Technology:

http://masseffect.wi...ki/Crisis_Armor
http://masseffect.wi...ki/Hazard_Armor

Batarian State Arms:

http://masseffect.wi.../Partisan_Armor
http://masseffect.wi.../Skirmish_Armor

Cerberus Skunkworks:

http://masseffect.wi...i/Freedom_Armor
(Hoplite is just a redirect for some reason, despite having a different color scheme, as Cheez's image shows)

Hahne-Kedar Shadow Works:

http://masseffect.wi...Janissary_Armor
http://masseffect.wi...i/Spectre_Armor (redirect to the manufacturer page).

No, not really. Man she and her daughter were disgusting. I ain't joking, I like milfs as much as any other teenager, but they were both plain bad looking. Don't understand how others here make them out to be angels.

Respect for Pwener: -220.

Total Respect for Pwener: -355.

Rage: +74.

And you know what?  I just realized that FemShep was the only girl wearing armor in ME2!  Which means she'll probably be alone again in ME3 if Ash doesn't get that promised armor!

It wasn't nearly revealing enough.

Eh, probably.

Thane and Jacob should just be wearing banana hammocks, really.

Would your respect for me go down if I thought their outfits were over-the-top?

Samara just needed a bra and she would become offensive to me as a woman. But considering that her boobs looked like deflated water balloons I cannot that say she was overtly sexual. Her body was gross and saggy to say the least.

Nah.  They were pretty insane.

Sam can pull it off, though.  Kind of.

Well,Jacob is a closet ****** so I wouldn't be surprised....and I don't know anything about drell anatomy so...anyway

Samara/Morinth should dress a bit more like Jack, who needs a shirt,so over-rated, shirts are holding women back.

Not after the testosterone bait, nevermind character violation, that is Ashley's makeover. It's called equal opportunity eye candy. :b

I wouldn't mind Ashley's outfit if it wasn't, I dunno, so ridiculous. She's a tank, and tanks don't run about in leather, heels, garters and no armor. They actually need to be able to survive a bullet shot.

But nowdays only Femshep and enemy females get armour, so I'm kinda used to the 'lets get in a shoot out wearing spandex and bras"

I'm a woman.  Found the outfit hilariously impractical, but not offensive.  And, frankly, I think Samara is beautiful.  It's like a tie between her and Jack for me.

PS: Boobies do not go under the eyes, dudebrah.

So not wearing a bra makes you less of a ****? Huh.....

But most of ME2's squad had stupidly revealing clothing.

Jacob: shameless bulge

Miranda: Need I say more?

Samara: unsexy cleavage

Jack: really BW? Great use of belts at least

I think a dev commented that she's more of a high damage dealer than a tank (Vega has that role now).

I know!  Isn't that just weird?

Yeah, I thought it was impractical but Samara has Rana's face so... her face and Jack's were just...art.

Tell that to Miranda's bulletproof latex suit. But if Garrus or Grunt try to take the shot.... NOOOOOOOOO-

@EternalAmbiguity,

Would it help any if I told you that there is actually a valid reason for asymmetrical armor design?

Typically, when in combat, people will present their 'weak-side' (left for 90% of people) more forward of their 'strong-side'. Additionally, more freedom of movement is typically required for the operations of the strong-side, meaning that less armor exhibits more gains on one side than the other.

By increasing the armor on the weak-side, overall protection can be increased disproportionate to the amount of increased weight.

Edit: Also, I find characters' lack of armor infuriating, females included. I like my women with weapons and armor enough to give a tank pause.

Very helpful in CQB where you need maximum protection and mobility.

I can appreciate that, but it still looks weird and makes me slightly uncomfortable.
