I just bought Mass Effect 1 the other day and I am working on my first playthrough on the PC. I waited until after I did the Feros missions to go to Noveria. I went quickly, doing what came first and easiest to get it done fastest.

My first clue to it being buggy would have been when I jumped off the Mako right before entering the Peak, Tali died. I revived her but then she just dissapeared from my party all together. Being so far from the Normandy, I just kept pushing through in a group of two [Liara and myself]. Everything else went fine until after Benezia was dead. When it was time to choose between life or death for the Rachni Queen, it simply let the Queen go without me picking any options. After that, I check my journal, it says I can go back to the Normandy now. I walk all the back and find out the mission still isn't completed. Looking at some walkthroughs, I found out that it should have teleported me to the Normandy during the tram ride; which never happened.

I have done all I can without completing these missions but now I'm at an impass. I have spent too much time searching every square inch of that facility and I am going to be heart broken if I can't finish my campaign.

:crying:

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have no saves that go back that far.

You will need to load up a previous save from when Tali was still in your squad. Pushing on with a broken game has lead to the problem you are now experiencing.

Looks like you will have to restart the entire mission then.
If on the PC, you might be able to use the various console commands (check the ME wiki for them) to fix the game, but if on Xbox, restarting is the only way to fix it.

Restart the whole game, you mean? :<

If you can't use console commands to fix it, and with a borked save it is debatable, then you will have to restart the game.....and don't get rid of old saves until you finish the game, computers have unlimited(well until you run out of harddrive space) saves, use them.

If you look in the load menu, there should be an autosave at the very beginning of the mission, and labelled "Restart Novaria" or something like that.
