I'm looking at MaxRocks NWNX_function expansions and there is a custom effect function designed to assist PRC. Has anyone experimented with these or managed some other way to create new effect icons?

I'd like to be able to add new effect icons. I don't need them to be tied in with an actual effect. They would be simply for GUI purposes: additional game server specific items I'd like the players to be easily aware of. The journal isn't the best place to put temporary information critical in battles.

Yes I did. You need custom client for this as well as number of effect icons is hardocoded into game and no more can be added without it, only replace. And windows version dont have this feature afaik.
