I was curious to know if anyone has created a personal "preset" list of camera shake settings for those particular moments of impact that inspire camera enhancement. Specifically:

Sword/weapon clash/impact
Heavy Step /fall
EarthQuake
Objects moving across the screen in close up
General light shake assistance during an action sequence
General light shake assistance for more calm moments for a realistic "Human held camera" effect

I've found myself fumbling with the Yaw/Pitch/Roll/ strength and related settings each time from scratch, sometimes succeeding, but for the most part, I end up just creating manual keys for these effects to occur, where I know a couple of solid tweakable shake settings would be far easier to implement.

For example, for a heavy creature step in wide angle I managed to conjure up the following settings:

(Orientation)

Pitch Strength 0.1
Roll Strength   0.1
Yaw Strength 1

Correlated True
Frequency 1
Roughness 1
Seed 0
Type Fractal

This took me a while to tweak, but if anyone happens to have a sort of list or technique they could share, it would be great to have such a list for easy reference.

For my part, I can say that I have no preset list of camera shake settings. Maybe I use a similiar setting I have used before for a similiar context (i.e memories) But in general I build the setting from scratch because I always consider the combination with other parameters (i.e. other effects, speed of action / animation)

The synergy effect has just to feel right for me. Otherwise I adjust the setting.

Sorry, can´t give an example. I just met the old acquaintance "Can´t connect" again and move my database.

Ah, I very much agree with you that these have to feel right, and many settings are specific to the situation, which was why I would have liked to have some basic settings to start with, and then tweak from there. I just find myself continuously experimenting from scratch though, and it's a time consuming process. Thanks for the reply though :D

After messing with a few shots while tweaking scenes I realize more than ever that you are right Yara. Each shot has it's own needs and presets really don't seem logical. It's really just about getting used to manipulating the settings.
