The magic, demons and deities that clearly exist in the DA game, don't need any religion.
The religions are blasphemous. Any existing or non-existing gods don't need them. The priests need them. The purpose of the religion is to put one person or some persons in the place of a god. To make their words to seem as if coming from a god. To make lies into 'truth' by claim of speaking for a god. This religion is a political instrument. To control people. To justify power, persecution and privileges.

So, there is no 'true' religion in the game.  (...either Image IPB.)

Which deities 'clearly exist' in Dragon Age?

The ones that grant prayers.. Clearly Andraste existed, her ashes have power, clearly the old gods existed, they cause blights, clearly the spirits of the wild exist they grant shapeshifters power, clearly the elven gods exist they grant power to elves...all of this for a certain value of exist.

Andraste existed, yes. However, the healing ability of her ashes are not necessarily due to her holiness. The large amount of lyrium in the cave is a viable alternate explanation. The old gods exist yes, but who says they are gods? They might just be really old dragons who slumber in their lairs underground. I haven't seen them do anything really godlike. Are the spirits of the wild really any different from normal spirits from the Fade? And what powers do elves have? They supposedly had immortality, but they don't know and no one really knows why they had it in the first place.

The Old Gods. And our Ancestors, who strengthen us all when they return to the stone.

I've seen no tangible proof of the Old Gods being actual deities, nor the Ancestors.

Andraste was a mortal woman, not a deity, nor did she ever claim to be divine but a servant of the divine. As Zanallen said above, there are alternate explanations as to the healing power of her ashes. And no matter how the ashes have their powers, it doesn't make Andraste a deity.

The Old Gods styled themselves gods, but calling yourself a deity doesn't make it true. Just because they cause Blights doesn't mean archdemons were ever gods. For all we know, they were just powerful demons who were worshipped by theTevinters.

No matter what spirits of the wild exist or what powers they grant, how does this make them gods? o_O  We're talking about eternal deities here, not any supernatural power-granting being that floats around the Void.

Elves have as much or as little powers as humans. This does not mean their Creators exist.

I asked for some clarification for what gods 'clearly exist' in Dragon Age. Currently I have heard none. I am not saying any of them are true or wrong, I am saying it's incorrect to say there is clear evidence of any sort of divinity in Thedas at present.

I am still in the boat that I don't want to know for sure. I don't want to know wherever the Maker exits or if he is a real deity or not. I would remove the charm of the game that is that belief is... just that: belief. I don't want to know if the creators and Fen'Harel exits. This is not Shin Megami Tensei, I don't want the answers to those question.

I do want to know what the darkspawn are, but that is because we have gained so many hints about them and I don't see that the truth about the darkspawn proves or disproves any of the religions in Thedas.
