I've heard a rumor that if you bring legion to tali's loyalty mission, that you get another email in addition to the unique dialog. I've tried this twice, but nothing happened. What do you do to get it?

you mean the one from the flotilla saying they're going for peace? i guess you have to really push for one choice over the other as far as convincing them to go to war or not, then you get confirmation from them afterwards. i always push for peace with or without legion so i don't actually know what happens if you don't?

There's no such email in the game's TLK file. You can only get the one from Daro'Xen about how you'll rue the day you didn't help her with her scheme to take control of the geth.

Yeah I got the same email with Legion as I did without.
As for unique dialogue, there are a few lines. The actual outcome has little to do with Legion though. It depends on if you hand over the evidence, and your closing statement. Just for fun the last time I handed over the evidence, and then used my closing remarks to warn against war with the Geth. Han'Gerrell was massively pissed. Poor Tali, she was pretty sad that I managed to screw up the whole Flotilla and get her dad exiled posthumously.
I wasn't going to keep that outcome though, so I reloaded. Perhaps I should have went back to the ship first, but I didn't want to spend the extra time. Someone said there is an email that says they are going to war. I have always gotten the one from Xen.

You get the same letter no matter what. The letter doesn't fit the situation all that well if you handed over the evidence. There's no reason for Daro'Xen to make a big deal about finding useful research material on the Alarei in this scenario.
In dialogue, after the trial, she only complains that you didn't give the data straight to her rather than present it as evidence. The publicity will make it harder for her to use it she says. It makes her especially angry.

ah, thanks guys. It was another thread that made me think there was another letter. I'm just hoping Bioware doesn't pull a "you need to bring legion to Tali's loyalty mission or else you can't stop the war" card
