Why are you assuming it was a mistake? I don't why she couldn't be announcing a DLC, it would be good marketing.

But why her? Why not a developer like Laidlaw? I mean yeah the announcement is supposed to be this week, but why use Felicia Day?

Seems like an odd choice, but you could be right. This could just be a way to get people who like Dragon Age to watch Redemption. Maybe Redemption comes out on the same day as the DLC.

Unless one of the devs will confirm this (or I can read it in the announcements section) I will not be convinced that there will be a DLC...

I can't say what this announcement is, whether it involes new DLC , Redemption, something else or what. I would suggest you watch GTTV on Thursday and see what happens.
