Myself, I hope we encounter a pre-gate alien species that accidently gets one of their astronauts sent into the Mass Effect World, ala Farscape.
Anyone elese have any ideas for easter-eggs, previous sci-fi franchise tributes?

Also, during the Earth siege, I need this scene remade with a Fighter Carrier (perhaps under Hackett's command). Not sure if ME-universe ships can FTL in the atmosphere, since they don't teleport/portal. But if you can make it work? I buy 2 copies!

Don't be offended, but I think Mass Effect should BECOME tribute worthy, not be laced with them.
This, I would rather have easter eggs of the past games for instance something about Garrus' calibration.

Yes, I agree with you 100%. I used to quote these games on a daily basis. I still quote them from time to time.

Stargate, Babylon 5, and BSG tributes wherever possible. Might even be able to throw a Halo one in too.
"Hackett, clearance to leave the station?"
"What are you doing, son?"
"Giving the Reapers back their bomb."
Although having the Geth remarked as 'Toasters' would be nice. If it's from EDI or Bailey, triple points for being Caprica Six and Saul Tigh.

Also, Mass Effect could use some "I am the Law!" and "I knew you'd say that."

Hipster opinion: Star Trek and Star Wars tributes would be too mainstream, and I think Call of Duty 4 stole every Aliens quote possible.

I want Legion to call me a "meatbag" at least once.
I don't think it's in Legion's character. Plus I think of Star Wars more of a fantasy set in space then scifi.

Not really a show, but Judge Dredd. Especially with the trial coming up.

I support this idea. That was a great movie.

This.
People think Humans are a Mary Sue race in ME? Heh, in comparison to humans in Star Wars, were practically garbage.
Slow moving lasers, metal moons that blow up planets, the "Force", etc etc.
EDIT: I think on Earth, in one of the "older" areas of London, we should have a TARDIS-lookalike. If you interact with it with a non-human on your team, they will ask "What is this, some kind of time travelling device?"

Well to be fair, it would be a double reference, as Bender from Futurama also calls people that.mango smoothie wrote...
