Which in your opinion is the easiest to play.
Mage is easiest for me, while my DW Rogue is the most fun and my warrior as SS (never got into the 2her/Bow departments) sits there and tanks things like a boss.

Quite a few reviewers recommended playing the dps Mage for a first playthrough, must be easier than I thought it would be (What with all the spells and such).
But the dressing gowns are hideous, so I won't be playing one anytime soon I expect.
I found my 2h warrior to be the easiest to play so far, best thing about warriors is the Templar skill tree but even the basic 2h skill tree gives you some useful abilities (Passives especially).

The warrior got nerfed in the recent patch. It was my favorite class in da2 pre-patch, now Ihave to say rouge. It's the quickest way to get through.

I like them all, warrior, rogue and mage. Rouge is really not needed in DA2 what with the magic mirror in the Black Emporium and all.

Warriors and rogues are easy when fighting the qunn in the last battle but when i used my mage i just kept dieing it might of been easy if i brought fenris to talk but that my first time and did not think to bring him but now I im just going to bring him on my new mage once i get around to lvling my mage hope it's easy fighting maradith in the end when using a mage.

I would say Archer Rogue with Varric + Anders + Merril, or DPS Mage with Varric + Sebastian + Anders or DW Rogue with Aveline + Fenris + Isabela.

Just dodge the initial charge, and use grenades or spells that slow him down.

SS warrior was a lot of fun to play but I'd probably say rogue archer is my favourite. pre-patch I liked 2h-warrior but once it got nerfed then I tried SS and loved it. Strangely, I've barely tried mages yet I've read somewhere that, witth a mage, the duel with the Arishok is the easiest

Mages is definitely my favourite. The Arishok duel is quite tough, but cold spells and spirit healer vitality (+10 constitution) helps. Mages aren't really squishy is you build them properly.

Easiest to play? Rogue imo. Extremely good single target damage, able to burst down dangerous elites before they can fight back, no stamina issues, lots of escape options, and almost no friendly fire to worry about to boot. Both dual wielding and archer are lots of fun.
Warrior is fun too - shield warriors at least. Smashing into stuff with your shield and doing assault CCCs feels good. I liked 2h when the game came out but this sunder bug that's around now just kills the spec for me and it's very unsafe to use with other melee characters.

I played a mage first, DW rogue second, and now I'm on 2H Warrior, and I liked the rogue best. Assassinate + Twin Fangs was the greatest thing ever.

I played Mage first. A Nuke Mage on Normal. Breezed through the game. I may enjoy Rogue more but I definitely think Mage is the easiest class and probably the best to play first.
I would not suggest Warrior first. It took me a bit (and guides here to help) before I made warriors well.

Yes, I should add that I did my 2h warrior before the patch and it was a brilliant class, I was thinking about doing another. What exactly has the patch done to the 2h class?
Because if it's quite bad, and Bioware don't fix it I'll play a dw Rogue instead.

I like them all, but I want to see more armor like The Fugitive's Mantle for the mages.

a mixture of mage robes and armor = pure awesome.
