i recently had to format my pc , i reinstalled NWN2 and i have 3 errors msgs about DLL and Key writer fails ( one for each key i suspect) i tried fininding the .ini file the forum mentioned , it wasnt there , i created one nwn2cdkey.ini and entered 3 lines key1= XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, key2 ... key3...
didnt work either i tried renamming it nwncdkey.ini ,suggestion from atari site, the same result, also tried file cache verification , says its all good.
but whe i try to go online it just says im unregistered cant go online go to atari.com and of course theres nothing there about it.

i also desinstall/ re-installed 3 times with and whitout firewalls , the problem remains , once download is complete and installation finished and game cache integretity verified . steam attemps three steps of cd key writer , the three fails and i remain '' unregistered please go to atari.com''

Was your problem ever resolved? I bought NWN2 off Atari website as a download with CD keys sent by email. I get the same problems as you're getting. Tried rewriting the nwncdkey.ini file manually, but no joy.
