Ok ok so i've reached the 3 golems (after siding with janeka) but holy moly am i having big trouble defeating these.

Have i gone into legacy at to much of a low level ? ( I Went in to legacy at level 10//11,  i'm at the end of act1,  only deep raods left)

I go with the team or anders, merril and varric.  Should i go back drop 1 for the iron jaw shemale ?

Does someone have any advice for beating them ?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks.

You could also try lowering the difficulty from nightmare if you feel stuck.

Others have done Legacy during act 1, so it should be doable, though it would be easier of you were at a higher level since you'd be able to do more damage while taking less.

Your team is fine and your level is fine. The golems should not be tanked. Are you an Archer, DW, or Mage? Try and get aggro on whatever golem is up, then run around while your ranged DPS pound on it. If one of your companions gets aggro, run around with him. It also helps to spread out to avoid taking too much damage from the rock throw.

Golems are weak to cold and electricity, so put on staves of those elements to dish out max damage.

I'm a mage and yeah i did equip them out in cold and elec staves already.

Just seems i can get them down low but its the one thats immune to spells when him and the one who heals team up i just get stuck. (tho i did manage to have all 3 on me at one point!) the one who heals just heals them constantly and for reasons beknown my dps just wasn't cutting it.

One on one hey are np its just when they all gang on me :x

Might try your build thendcomes see how that works for me.

I forgot about the healing one. Clearly he needs to go down first. I can't remember the mechanics for when and how the Golems appear and disappear. This should influence your strategy for the fight.

Do the golems appear and disappear after a specific time or after you've done a specific amount of damage? If so, how long is it or how much damage is it? When they all respawn at the same time, does the damage you've done carry over?

Depending on how the fight works, double haste and throw all your CCC damage at the most opportune time to burn the healer down. If you can get them all on you, see if you can Gravitic at least 2 for max burn time on the healer.

If you do need to respec, I'd recommend Great Haste and Winter's Grasp on both Anders and Hawke, and Gravitic on Hawke. Anders can take Valiant Aura. If Merrill has enough points, maybe maxing the Primal tree to buff her electric spells? You should pick up the Staff of Primal Order if you don't already have it. Are your other cold/elec staves around 22 damage at this point?

IIRC, one of the golems is immune to every element, except for physical. That means, if you don't have a physical staff, Varric will be the only one that can damage that golem. This can make the fight pretty tricky.

They change depending on damage done, how much exactly i'm not to sure yet.

Yeah i have some good staves around 22 > 28 dps.

Hmm i only have 2 makers in my inventory atm so could only respec 2 of them. Hmm unless i go back a few saves and make sure i have enough, then go try redo.

I also remebered that the first golem is immune to physical damage. So, as far as staves go, use cold and electricity staves for the first golem, switch to physical staves for the second golem (I think it's called magic resistant golem), and once again use cold and electricity staves for the healing golem.
As far as strategy and specs go, I think thendcomes covered the most important elements of it.
So, I wish you good luck.

Golems are more annoying than assassins in my opinion. More annoying, not more dangerous.

When all else fails, poke it with a pointy stick.

if possible uses the cross class combos if youve got any that you can do with your party focus on one at a time and try and keep the other 2 way or stun them
