Can't please everyone, but I'm happy to hear some news. Granted I prolly wont be around for the big announcement but that's why you forumgoers are here for, to tear apart all the juicy details for me!

I'm pretty sure my body is ready.

Laidlaw never asked for this.

At least if it's something NEW, the answers won't be all the same.

Why Pacific Time? Does EA schedule everything on Pacific Time? BioWare used to schedule everything on Mountain Time.

Why not Pacific time? Why complain about something this trivial?

I wasn't complaining.  I was just asking.  Maybe Mike is vacationing in Prince Rupert, so he's in Pacific Time.  I was just curious.

BioWare has a long-established pattern of scheduling on Mountain Time, and now it's different.  I can't be the only person who noticed this.

Mountain Time is one of the "obscure times", so people don't use it as much for public events. Just like my time: Atlantic Time. It's all about Pacific and Eastern if you're in North America.

Of course, if I had my way, we would all reference things in relation to Newfoundland Time just to make things difficult!

Well crap. Now I have to think of questions that are interesting but don't fall into the "we can't answer that" trap. D:

I'm guessing your expectations are misaligned. I forsee a bunch of non-news and vague answers coming from this. With at most more pushing of that web series thing or whatever it is they're doing on GTTV.

It makes me wonder what questions they want us to ask. It doesn't seem like they can give many answers about future products, or give us a clearer idea of their direction. So what's the point?

I don't dispute that Pacific Time makes more sense for a PR event.  It's just that BioWare has generally ignored that detail and used Mountain Time.

Chris, I think it's obvious that you need to restate your initial post and make special note that the chat will be at 2pm MST. I live in the Central time zone, so if you could accomodate and let me know when that is it my time, that would be great. I can't add and subtract past 1.

I can see the Pacific from my house (nearly). And your Pacific time is still in the middle of my night.

See you there, several hours late. (If they talk about rumoured Saarebaseses in Redemption, someone ask if he's going to be hot on my behalf, please.)

Do things that happen in pacific time not actually happen in mountain time, then?

If you guys have developed mutually exclusive time zones there are some folks at the LHC who'd probably like a word.

I think Laidlaw got a bad rep after DA2. It seems all the comments I read on other sites blame him for how DA2 turned out. I dont think DA2 was that bad anyway just remember it takes more then one person to make a game. Im happy he is the creative director and have full faith in him. I've seen most of his interviews and Q and A's and he seems really passionate about the land of Thedas. I couldnt think of a better creative director.
WAY TO GO MIKE!

Oh yea and i'll be watching tomorrow :P

Oh great, now I've gone and snortsprayed coffee all over my keyboard.

...

There is nothing more I love to see than Bioware employees gathering together to insult and mock the community.

Hey, let's call David Gaider - maybe he could lay some personal or professional insults at Sylvius's mother?

Now, Sylvius has been posting here a *long* time. He does not troll, and his complaints are mostly discussion.

How about we try to have a little damn dignity, especially you *CHRIS*...

It looks really fine when the *company* reacts to their older fans like we are a bunch of annoying and troublesome children.

Of course... you can "always get more fans"...

Hows that going for you guys?
