i'm sure you've been getting a lot of these, but....
i hate, as i'm sure most people do,  limited ammo clips. it makes it a lot harder playing Insanity Level when you run out, and there NO spare clips laying around. can we get the over-heating/cooldown feature, and use augments to fix the weapon ourselfs, like in the first game?

I like the ammo count it makes you think about what you are doing. Learn not spray and pray. Learn to conserve ammo. If you are a Solider you have many weapons, if you are not you have these things called powers to use.

I thought this would be a "they are called MAGAZINES, not CLIPS!" rant, but apparently not. People get too caught up in that and assume revolvers and even ME2 weapons use mags aswell.

I've never had a problem with ammunition. Going melee/biotics/tech only should be the price to pay!

Are you seriously complaining about the most difficult mode of play being difficult to play?

I prefer the 'Clips' over the 'cool down' myself...But I play Sniper heavy, so clips work best for me.

wow, there are similar threads on Eidos' site. It's like DXHR comes out and everyone learns the word "augment", then uses it to death.

If you hate ammo limits, then modify the ini file with notepad++ or Hexeditor. Just change the ammopershot to 0.

I found that the pistol ran out of ammo really fast. As a soldier I found the thermal clips top be obnoxious, and I much preferred the overheating from me1. however me3 has already been made to use the thermal clips, so we must get over it. The only thing we can hope for now is improvements, like more ammo carrying capacity etc.

the only way i agree with you on this. Is if you change pistol to Mathock. 86 rounds max even with off-hand ammo glove.

Idea.

Have a weapon "cool down" and a X number of clips. You can either wait for your weapon to chill, or pop out the clip and put a new one in. Although if we have to go with one system, ME2 does it better. ME1 felt... haxor.

yes, because insanity is the ONLY achievement i don't have for ME2. it was easier for me to get on ME1. give me an assault rifle, a sniper, and the right biotic abilities, and i'll tear **** up

yea i did insanity as a lv 1 solider no imports at all. I did fine, got thorugh it with very little choke points.(looking at you collector ship.) I ammo conserved and didnt run out of all my ammo at once, shocker.

Really?  Because once you get the hang of it, ME2 on insanity isn't so bad.  So long as you pay attention and don't get stupid/overconfident, you'll be fine.

ME1?  Ick.  Immunity spamming bastards...  I HAVE BEEN POURING BULLETS INTO YOU FOR FIVE MINUTES DIE ALREADY.
