I have been thinking straight up Soldier...and even though Captain Jack's primary weapon is a pistol....he feels kind of more a Shot Gun kinda dude to me.....So am thinking about maxing out his Shot Gun and Sniper in ME1 (Sniper for my own sanity and ability to play effectively)....and max his Charm of course....NYG1991 wrote...

I am beginning to think Jack is a bit of a paper tiger...lots of threats, swaggering and looking tough...waving his gun in people's faces, etc...but stops there, he hesitates a lot....He is pretty renegade verbally to people he doesn't know or care about...Gwen feels he has lost touch with his humanity, because he can be quite cold....he is very forgiving with his team though. He may be 'humancentric', happy to space an Alien, but won't kill a cannibal human....(were all non lethal shots in his great save).....And he is definitely as attracted to women as he is to men. I am going to watch more episodes before I make Jack Shepard....I am thinking he is probably more Paragade than anything else.

In the game morally Shepard could resembles to Jack. (S)he can make cruel decisions, as well as benignant/compassion ones. (S)he could be gentle or threatening and mean. And Shepard can make life and death decisions just like Jack when he sacrificed his own grandson for the sake of Earth.
Sadly though Shepard doesn't have that knowledge that Jack posseses. And most importantly (s)he doesn't have "Captain Jack's Theme" and his coat

"Where has all the wip...rip...reapers gone?"
BTW
I would like Walt Shepard Kowalski and his Gran T Normandy better ;P
Reapers: We are eternal.
Shep: Yeah? I blow a hole in your face and then I go in the ship... and I
sleep like a baby. You can count on that. We used to stack ****s like
you five feet high in Akuze... use ya for sandbags.
I once fixed an airlock that wasn't even broken yet.
defending Earth: [sneering and aiming his gun] Get off my lawn!
Garrus: What are you gonna do, Shepard?
Shep: Whatever it is, they won't have a chance.

my mShep won't be too fussy , whichever s/s li Bioware throws at him, he'll consume it.
That's not accurate, as he had a daughter. There is also a wonderful episode, I can't recall which season, where he tries to save a woman he once loved [Edit: From faeries of some sort, I think?], who is now elderly.

Lets not forget this is a guy who sacrificed his own grandson to save the Earth, he can charm the pants/skirt off anything sentient but will rain hell on those who hurt those close to him. I think Jack would spare the rachni queen (if anyone understands redemption it's him) save Feros kill Shiala save Ashley, Kaiden dousent seem his type leave the councill to die put anderson in charge and probably destroy the collector base
I had kinda thought Jack would kill the Rachni Queen...I tried that last night (have started my Jack game)...but couldn't handle it and reloaded...
He has also now been confronted by Liara and Ash....he tried for a three way...

In ME i think he should be sort of an advanced engineer with high level medical/doctoral training. He has large knowledge about many things: technological, biological and social, since he is from the future and from a different planet, although he isn't in the same level as the Doctor. But what deep knowledge Shepard has? He knows the reapers are coming and (s)he knows they need to be stopped.

If you can mod the game properly, Jack should romance Kaidan, then sacrifice him on Virmire. If not, just go with Liara. In ME2, whoever you romance should also probably die in the suicide mission. In fact, for the suicide mission, you should probably kill everyone you possibly can.

Kaidan = Ianto? Or is it Kaidan=10th Doctor's hand?

As for the 'code'....ME1 Jack isn't great....the sliders just aren't working as well as I hoped with him....as I mentioned, my canon Shep has a variety of markers in common with Harkness (eye width and set, forehead, jaw, etc...)...but I'm having trouble getting something definitely Jack....will put a lot more time and effort into his face in ME2 though and hopefully start working it out as best can be done with the sliders.
