Basically, I'm redoing my Mass Effect games for my new Xbox360.

I know how I'm going to play most of the decisions (Paragon with plenty of Renegade interrupts and cutting off the Council via comm link as well as general rude behavior), but there's the SMALL issue of who exactly will Gabriel Shepard end up with.

I don't like Jack, so that was never an issue.
Miranda is fine but Gabe would never end up with someone possessing even more neuroses than him.
What can I say, I'm not a big fan of Liara or blue in general, either.

So, that leaves Ashley and Tali who I have played through post romances for in previous games.

I can't decide whether to have Shepard choose Ashley and stay faithful, despite Miss Vas Normandy's crush on him or stick with the Quarian girl despite the vast chance of their relationship not suceeding. It's a tough call. 

Sadly, I can't end up with Kelly.

Ashley, because the biggest drawback with her are the poems, while she can take care of herself.

Tali, first and foremost is an alien, and aside from that is only using Shep to cover up her daddy's little war crimes.

You can end up with Kelly if you want, simply tell her after Horizon that the relation with ashley is history, and then refuse Tali when she flirts with you.

Kelly is a pesduo romance and we don't know if she will be a proper romance in ME3. 

Why have only one Shepard? 

Create two.  One for Ash then one for Tali.

MULTIPLE PLAYTHROUGHS STAY FAITHFUL IN ONE CHEAT IN ANOTHER. Sheesh that's the glory of them. I've cheated and stayed faithful to EVERY love interest witht he gift of multiple universes on one disk. pointless thread is pointless.

Honestly, I do have a hope that there will be an option for, "Ashely reveals a burning love for FemShep."

However, I basically just intend for one to be my "canon" Shepard run.

Oh well.

Start romancing Ashley and leave her with the bomb on Virmire, and play it as "Shep lost in love" until you start talking to Tali. That's what I did for one of my playthroughs, and now I have the habit of doing that most (if not all) of the time.

@Kaiser-Shepard: Don't like Tali, don't talk about Tali that way the Talimancers will NOT send hate-mail to you, I may not Like Miranda but I don't think it's worth it to bash her character

I was in the same boat for the longest time and eventually went Ashley. Haven't looked back.

because shepard got greedy and wanted both women. That sounds like a perfectly good thing to get upset about.

Because he could get himself a fine female human specimen instead. A virtual one, but still.

That and he doesn't seem to be very interested in romancing men.

I loved how Liara seemed open to it and Ash was all "HELL NO!" haha.

But I say choose Tali. She doesn't spout annoying poetry and her romance is the best in ME2 in my opinion other than Liara in LotSB
