Hello,

As the title says, I had to make a new account because my
old one won't log in.  Every time I try to log into the server, I put in
my email address and password correctly, but it takes me to new account
set up.  I fill out the options then click next but that fails because
the email address is already associated with an account?  I know I had
an account with that email address, and it did work at one point,
however now when I try to log in, apparently I have to re create the
account, but i can't since the email address is already associated with
the old account!  So, I made a new account, but now all games and things
I had on the old account won't transfer to the new one, or I don't know
how to do that.  I went to the profile thing on ea.com and checked to
make sure the account works and it does, but it doesn't work here.  At
the bottom of the create new account screen, and this hasn't happened
before when I used to log in, I was able to log in just fine, are these
words:

You are logged in with your EA account. Please fill in some additional fields to proceed.

I hope I have explained things well enough so I can get some help, and get the old account restored!

My old account got hacked so if possible i would love to get all my old information / dlc's etc transferred over to this account considering i've spent over £200 on bioware games :|

additionally to this, i've managed to re-register the core games but not my extras, such as my Digital deluxe features on origins or ME2 etc.

even on origin it no longer shows me as owning the Digital Deluxe of DA:origins?

EDIT: my old bioware username on here is: Poubo (so it still exists).

any help would be grand :)

Same thing happened to me. When the old Bioware forums were hacked, many accounts were reset and an email was supposed to be sent out with a link to reset your password. I never received the email so months later found I couldn't log in. I had to contact EA support on live chat to get this fixed. It took a few days but if you can supply your date of birth and the registration codes for your games they will eventually sort it out.

Go here: http://support.ea.com/
Log in with your new account details and then click on the "Contact Us" link on the left side of the page.
Fill in the details of which game, platform and problem you are experiencing. It doesn't really matter what you put in there.
A "Live Chat" link will now load letting you talk to a tech support person. They will probably bump you up to level 3 support which means you will have to wait for them to get back to you. It will probably take a few days and some perseverance and patience on you part, so keep your cool and don't get abusive/angry.

Good luck.

I have a similar problem with my account.

I've been away for a few months but in the meantime I've changed my account email address(on the SWTOR.com site i think) from EMAIL1 to EMAIL2
After I tried logging back into my games (DA:O, ME2) I couldn't resume my save games because of unauthorized DLCs. EMAIL1 didn't work at this point and EMAIL2 didn't have any of my previously purchased DLCs linked to it.
(yes I went through the troubleshooting steps and as a consequence I lost the extra content installed on my PC - DA:O)

So I tried the ea support website. Sent the ticket, nothing for a few days so I tried the Chat with a Game Advisor (GA) option. I managed to talk to someone(a bot maybe?) 2 out of 5 times.
The first GA found out he could see the DLCs under EMAIL1 so the soulution is to replace EMAIL1 with EMAIL2. So I thought job well done, thank you very much.
But it didn't work, I can log in with EMAIL2 but on my page it shows EMAIL2.1 !
I have no idea where he got that from but it was so frustrating I had to contact another GA.
So after again waiting for 40minutes to have one, I had to wait 30 more just to see him quitting the session without any help and advising me to contact another GA. :)
Oh I don't even have to mention I guess, after clicking on SEND EMAIL it WONT(!) send the transcript to your email address.
Customer service at it's best.
I can't even ease my frustration by destroying the discs because I am a Steam customer.
Anybody knows where can I find actual customer service for these bioware games?
Blah..

So do you have DLC under two different accounts? Or just the one? If you are trying to merge accounts and their DLC that is something only support can do. If you are trying to change emails on accounts that should be something you can do yourself.

I'm also not 100% sure but I don't think the SWTOR website uses the same login system we have here on Social. I believe they have their own user database while we use EA accounts.

Interesting. I have zero interest in any MMO, nevertheless, because it has spilled over into forums here, I had a bookmark at SWTOR, and really was thinking I'd registered, but the site is vastly different now, and FireFox had nothing in its password files for the site, so I suspect it does have some separate system for membership, and I may never have registered there after all (I did leave a "forgot my password" token behind, but unless they are way, way behind, that was just a dead end).

Well the email address change could have been on this website then, still doesn't explain why I lost my DLCs.
Or why could the GA see them tied to the old email address when I was unable to log on with that.
Why would a change of email address almost duplicate an account? And don't even get me started on the issues with the customer service. :) This looks hopeless, got kinda swindled out of the content i paid for and then they ignore me.

Send me a message with your email addresses. I can look up the details on each and try to sort it out. I can't change anything but I can probably help explain the issue so if you go back to CS you can hopefully help them understand. :)

Hey,

sure why not, thanks!
so first I had mongo@gepezet.hu
then i changed it to joz.orosz@gmail.com because I stopped using the first one. apparently my dlcs are still visible for the EA Game Advisor under the first.

And to top that he changed the email address for this account what Im using, (joz.orosz@gmail.com) to joz.orosz1@gmail.com and I cant switch it back to the actual email address. so If I ask for a password reminder it goes to a non-existing email address? weird.
