Our currency is worth more than the Canadian dollar and our military is more pwoerful than the Canadian army so I can't possibly see how they became a superpower,
The trial should either be held in Geneva, Munich, or New York City because this is balant fan-service and I for one am tired of this from Bioware

The games take place in the 2180s not 2011.

It makes sense for Vancouver to be featured in Mass Effect 3. Bioware is in Canada so obviously this is their big chance to put their country in the limelight. How often is Canada ever important in any literature or film? It is always New York or London.
In da futur Candaz rulez us all!
I live in America and I have no problem with Vancouver being in Mass Effect 3.

By 2100, the US reduced its overbearing national tax rates to 0%. An unfortunate side effect of this was that all government programs including space exploration had to be cut.
In conclusion, all restaurants are now Taco Bell.

Sure, that's realistic. What do we have? 15 or so years until 2027? I'm sure in that decade and a half all the major media companies that have held international influence since the mid-1800s will just magically disappear, giving way to... Montréal...? Makes perfect sense.

Canada isn't a super power. It's part of the United North American States along side the United States of America and Mexico. Besides it's not Vancouver, it's Seattle/Vancouver. The two cities have grown so large that they've merged. Also, Germany doesn't exist anymore, the European Union has become a sovereign nation instead of the economic-political alliance it is today.
I'm guessing they finally decided to give Greece back to the Turks, then.
