Canada is part of the USA in the Mass Effect universe.
It makes sense for Vancouver to be featured in Mass Effect 3. Bioware is in Canada so obviously this is their big chance to put their country in the limelight. How often is Canada ever important in any literature or film? It is always New York or London.
In da futur Candaz rulez us all!
I live in America and I have no problem with Vancouver being in Mass Effect 3.
Also I have no problem with Vancouver being in ME3,my home town will be in the Pacific by this time anyway.

As I live in Vancouver, should I start to make traps and stuffs to ambush the reapers by the time they come? XD Seriously, why do you care about where it take place? As long as it has the scene that is good enough, does it matter it is in Canada, US, Europe, or even city in Asian?
And hey, my homeland will be destroyed, how good does that feel? XD

I'm really having trouble contemplating how Vancouver is fanservice . . . and a place like New York wouldn't be. Even if it is fanservice, it's not blatant and implausible. There is no genuine complaint here.
"Fanservice" is one of those things that people think is simply another way to say "bad", so they just throw it in. See also: "retcon", "console", "popular".

In Fallout, you guys annexed us and made us do your dirty work.
This is all foreshadowing, I think we need to watch out for ourselves.
Also: Polar bears > Reapers

From what I gathered in the very little we know about the UNAS it seemed like it was a joint agreement to unify. I believe I also remember that it was violently opposed in a Second American Civil War. I could be wrong though.

I think the reason this hasn't occurred in most games is because of...
...wait for it...
...our name.
"Oh no! Here comes Canada!"
Canada, the least intimidating name you could have for a country. I can't say "Canada, f*ck ya!" and take myself seriously.

Like, what? Grammar****s? Because that's the only use I can think of.
Or did BSN have a bad experience with Stormfront invading?
The only overused word here is troll, that **** gets thrown around even by the mods. Should be an autoban IMO. 100% decrease in asspain the first week.
