A sextant is a device for measuring time before the clock was invented right? Angles of the Sun?
I don't use Wikipedia, I go BTW, I go all natural.

To who? Canadians? Vancouverites(anians, whatever the hell you call someone from Vancouver)? Edmontoners(same applies)? Really I want to know; who exactly do you think Bioware is sucking up to here? Cause as a Canadian fan I honestly don't get excited that a Canadian city is going to feature for 5-10 minutes in a videogame.
Maybe if they made every major human character from Canada/Vancouver you'd have a point but that's not the case. Come to think of it are any of the major human characters Canadian (Earthborn Shepard excluded he/she can be from wherever the hell you want unless I missed something)? And how would putting it anywhere else be any less fan-service?

Actually it shouldn't even be on Earth, humans come from there it is soooooo cliche and fan-servicey, hold the trial on Luna.

I`m a french canadian . But the funny part is that a word used to describe a shelter for soldier during the 16th century is actually my last name .. and my ancestor was born in normandie and settled in New France around 1604 .. But my last name was actually a shelter for SOLDIER. I can't believe it. It's funny how thing start to make more sense when you start reading into stuff. Believe it or not Madonna share the same ancestor by her mother side.

Interesting factoid: An extremely high percentage of Canadians, I think it's 90% but not totally sure, live within 100 miles of the US border.
But there's no special place where I would want it to be, so I don't care.

Meant to tack this on to my last post, I understand our time in Vancouver will probably be brief (if it's just the trial) so I shouldn't have to bring this up but I will just in-case Bioware please, for the love of all that is good, do not force the "eh". That is all.
I'm sure you've nothing to worry aboot.

My grandma and a few friends of mine say it quite frequently, and I pick it up a fair bit everywhere (school, etc). I don't say it myself though.

Yeah, Canadians DO say "eh," so it would be perfectly normal for it to be in the game.
However, this is 150 years ahead, it may be gone by then.

Funny thing is, "eh?", while being the most common and annoying stereotype, is probably the only one that is correct.

Oh I use it all the time, but it has a proper function in my speech. For example, "It's a nice day out eh?" it fills in for the longer "don't you think" which I don't have time for, there's snow to shovel and hockey to be played. What I worry about is when I see it tacked on to the end of every. single. sentence. Nobody, at least nobody I've ever met, uses it to that extent.
