No offence trailer looks good but I was hoping for a DLC or Expansion covering events after DA2 not another DLC that can take place anytime during DA2. Are we ever going to get something that tells what happens to Hawke after the events of DA2?

I'm thinking that every protagonist in every Dragon Age game is going to "mysteriously vanish" at the end and during the last game they'll all unite against one evil (Flemeth?)

On-topic: Er...uh... hooray, MOTA? :D

Looks pretty good.

'Stolen Memory' was one of my favorite missions in ME2 and there are indeed quite a few parallelisms that can be made between that and this DLC based on what's seen in the trailer (as others have pointed out). What's got me most excited about this DLC is how big a change of pace it appears to be from the majority of DA2 (a story that doesn't appear tied into Blood Magic in any way, at least on first glance).

I'm interested to see if any of the mechanics introduced in Mark of the Assassin make its way into the base game, or will things like "the return of stealth gameplay" only apply to certain scripted segments found in the DLC itself (my gut tells me the latter is the more likely case). In any event I'm quite looking forward to this one, hopefully there's a nice payoff to this story (and a good boss fight, I wonder what they'll be using as a "stand in" for the gunship here...) and that they continue to build on the positive momentum they achieved with Legacy.

*Sigh* She's freaking everywhere these days...

This was the only point that made me sigh, no offence to her or anything.
Was the same thing when Blizzard cast Tricia Helfer as the new voice of Sarah Kerrigan -- though at least Felicia Day has a connection to Dragon Age through Redemption -- and as MotA is tied to Redemption I cant complain, would have been worse if she wasn't in MotA as it is now.

Looks interesting, I'm cautiously optimistic. If this is set in Orlais, would be cool to see Wynne and Shale if they're still around, especially in light of David Gaider's new novel. Will there be any tie-ins to the new novel?

Well, now we know what a certain thief from ME2 has been up to.
Another pointless DLC that doesn't add to the story, but the fans will just love it.

This looks really good, and the rogue in me is dying to buy it.

...but probably won't.

Not sure, do not like the voice actress's voice, She sounds a little bit amateurish. And that the character is a forced party member is disheartening.
Will check the reviews, It’s not the first day buy for me as the Legacy was.

Not sure if anyone already has already posted it, but here is the link for the interview with Felicia.

There are few shots of the gameplay. Looks very interesting.

Uh. Sorry, Felicia is a beautiful woman (ew, het), but the character looks, ahm. Well, anyway.

I hate myself for thinking so, but I have the teeeny feeling that she might be a little, ahm, Mary Sue-ish. I get this feeling from all new female characters because of all the bad fanfics I read, though, so I'm probably wrong.

Oh, the animation skills look really cool. Especially the thingie she does with her feet.

Looks very cool. Can't wait for Oct 11th. Sounds like taking Isabela along might result in more story specific banter than in Legacy which is great too.

MotA on the 11th, Psych on the 12th, Army drill that weekend. Looks like i'm gonna be busy that week.

I'm a little bummed that it's practically a month away but since it's new dlc for rogues basically, RogueHawke, whose my canon hawke has a new reason to do do a new start over.

Perhaps this was answered already, and maybe not but Ill ask anyway. This whole, "new dynamic of playing" or whatnot with "melee and ranged" combat with the new character, is this going to be a specialization available to Hawke as well or is it simply for the character? If it's just for the character, I'll be a little disappointed as I dont really control any of the characters other than Hawke. The only time I control them at all is when I need to position them away from danger or need to set them up at choke points (like doors and narrow corridors).

So for me, unless this is also available for Hawke, wont have as big of an impact as it may have for other players. As far as the DLC goes in general, Im definitely getting it, no questions asked. And as far as the "new items" go, Im not holding my breath but the only thing that would interest me at this point is either A.) A 2 handed SWORD or AXE that levels with the user (hate hammers...hate hate hate hammers lol) or B.) A set of armor that levels with the user.

Beyond that, I suspect that the "new items" will be probably on par with the ones we found in Legacy. Which is to say, not that great. *coughcough*HawkesKeySucks*coughcough* Seriously though, that item had so much potential but just ended up being pretty lack luster. So much so that after Legacy was over, I sold it to the first vendor I passed by. Wasnt about to carry around an item I had no use for beyond the intended DLC or for that matter, cant even store in my storage chest. But, I digress I suppose. This DLC as a whole looks quite interesting and as I said, I'll be picking it up for certain.

It looks good but id rather a dlc that relates to the in game characters already, to get to know them a bit better and also to get some closure from the end that was pitiful. As much as i think it looks great i dont think i will buy it because of this, it has no relation to hawke.

edit: also dont need anymore weapons or armour as well because theres just too much already. They should have incorparated their item packs into the dlcs imo. But then they wouldnt rob people of more money

If they didn't release the item packs people would've whined that DLC is taking too long!

Well, I don't really care about item packs, but I will always shell out for story-based DLC. (Excluding the Darkspawn Chronicles.)

My only concern about this DLC is that I'm getting that "Uncanny Valley" vibe from Tallis.

Called it! :o

Anyway, a heist DLC, eh? Not my preferred choice but it sounds like fun nonetheless.

I hope the flirt opportunities with Tallis are plentiful.

Trying to get excited, but just... meh.

At least it's content DLC that pertains to the main game.

But people just complained that there was lack of content anyway. Im glad theyre taking the story dlc more serious with development and thought legacy greatly improved on DA2. Id rather wait for quality products but as much as i think this dlc will be good, because it has no relation to any main character im not as intrested, especially with the amount of games i will be buying over the next 4 months

Yeah, totally underwhelmed by this one. To the point where I'll be looking forward to the next item pack instead.

It doesn't really seem like a story DLC. It seems to be more of a "Here, go frolic with LARPer in elf ears. Go on. It's sexy."

Blech.
