The Orlesians did rule over Kirkwall at one time and there are still remnants of their influence in the city. For instance, there are Orlesians who still have noble titles in Kirkwall, like the de Launcet family.

Probably not. It's a manor outside of Kirkwall.

The estate has the style of an Orlesian settlement. Basically, some Orlesian lord moved there but kept the style to feel at home. You know how finiky Orlesians are. Gotta be all fancy and civil.

Ah! That explains it. Can't wait to mess up the place!

Will the timing of the DLC have any bearing on the storyline? I was debating whether or not I should play Mark of the Assassin in Act 2 or if it would be better to hold off until Act 3.

Well, there will likely be some banter/dialogue changes within the DLC (e.g. in the trailer we saw in the dev chat, Hawke is invited to the mansion because s/he is champion). Seeing as the Qunari are involved, I assume there will be some dialogue that reflects the Act2/3 divide as well. Ultimately, we won't know what the impact will be until the 11th, but I doubt it'll be more than dialogue/context alterations.

I wish I could go with MyWarden mage/Hawke/Alistair and My HumanWarden queen.. So many Ferelden's!! the hate would have been epic!.. lol! Oh and don't tell Leliane please!! >.<;

Which companions will be the best for this DLC? I've read someone related with Orlais and Qunary, so Isabella and Fenris? I don't know if there is any more...

Aveline was born in Orlais, as her father was Orlesian. Fenris once lived in Seheron, so he has some ties to the Qunari as demonstrated when he recites the Qun for the Arishok in the main game. Isabela has some connections as well, but how big I do not know. I'd hazard a guess to say that these three will probably have something unique to say during the events of the DLC.

Are we going to see more Varric and Cassandra in this DLC? With Legacy they worked it in as part of Varric's story with Cassandra's questioning. I hope we do.
