Any hint as to which companions might have the most to say? Obviously Anders, Varric and the sibling contributed the most to Legacy.

Well, let's ask this: does anyone in your party have a connection to Orlais, or to the Qunari in some manner?

Hmm, Aveline and Fenris (Isabela, too, but Fenris seems to know more about Qunari language).

I hope it'll be as good as Legacy :D (bought it some days ago and I'm loving it).

Curse you, Bioware, for putting out all this Felicia Day-starring extra content.

STOP TAKING MY MONEY! My children need wine!

Ooh, looks good. While part of me's bummed she'll be taking up a companion slot I'd rather reserve for the companions I already know and love, the rest of me's excited that those same companions are still fully voiced and have a part to play. And that's the most times anyone's said "companion" in a single sentence, I think. Anyway, looks really intriguing, and sadly almost a month away.

I think you'll find that Tallis fits into the party in a pretty natural way, and - while some will no doubt lament the lack of the third party member that they're so used to - she's got a lot of personality and ends up involved in some of the best banter I've heard yet.

Is this post-campaign or anytime during the campaign or a set time during the campaign?

Does this make "companion" the new iconic?
Do Bioware fans love their catchphrases as much as the devs?

STAY TUNED!

;)

(On topic: it was a pleasure to have the followers back for MotA. Better still (and surprised no one has asked), yeah, the siblings are back too. Less focus on them this time, but if you want Carver or Bethany along, we have arranged that for you.)

Wich reminds me... will we see any old character? All this assassin and Orlais talk remind me of Leliana and Zevran.

One question I have is will rogues, which have an actual stealth skill, be better at a stealth run than a wizard or a warrior? And, in a related note, would taking along more sneaky companions like Isabella and Varric make a difference?

Like Legacy, you can play it anytime after you've gained access to your or Gamlen's house.

Looks like Hawke's doin' some more heavy-metal, upper-floor decorating!

There are going to be lots of questions about Mark of the Assassin. Remember that Mike Laidlaw will be answering MotA questions and other Dragon Age related questions during the live chat that takes place tomorrow.

You can keep asking them here, but Mike needs to get his beauty sleep to look passabl...er... pretty for the camera tomorrow, so more will be revealed tomorrow. Plus we'll be launching a webpage with mroe information on Mark of the Assassin once the Marketing team is awake tomorrow morning.

:)

As with Legacy, it happens (chronologically) around when you end up playing it during the campaign. There are some differences based on when you choose to play it (as well as based on some of the decisions you made during the campaign), especially in a couple of key places, but it's meant to be playable whenever you choose.

The usual suspects, minus Jennifer, who's on leave.

Will this DLC have meaningful choices comparable to the Legacy DLC?

Question about the "return" of stealth gameplay - does this mean actually sneaking by foes?

Yus. It's a different approach than we've taken before, and it is optional (not everyone likes the sneaking). It's also fairly simple, since we're constrained by what we can do with a DLC, but it will be interesting to get feedback on it and see if people would like us to push it further, or tweak.

Sounds good.

Quick question, if it's not been answered. Will we be able to bring our other party members with us and will they have new dialog? Or is the full focus on this new character.

I am so happy that the siblings can come with us. I love exploring their dynamic. And, while I love writing their stories, I also love new content with them and getting to know them better from a canon standpoint.

I'm also the oldest of 4, and fought with my brother all the time when we were younger. I guess I just love siblings in general.

I'll be really happy to have DLC regularly like this until DA3 comes out. lol. Legacy was so lovely. <3

Fantastic. Love the cross-media implementation; like the books, it makes the DA world more and more immersive (couldn't think of another less shuddersome word). Really pleased the companions are coming back fully voiced.

That'll be Fenris and Aveline or Isabela joining Connor Hawke I guess.

Quick question - is it viable to play this DLC as if chronologically after the end game (ie. the game will recognise the events take place post-Gallow, like LOTSB did for ME2) or does it only make sense pre- the Last Straw (a'la Legacy).

Thanks!

So disappointing. There's so much going on in the universe, Templars and Mages at war, Hawke missing or on the run, we've just seen some huge hints about the truth behind the Golden City and the Darkspawn and now.... we're robbing some French guy's house with a celebrity. Ugh.

Is it even post-game content? The one thing I want, and what I see that everyone else seems to want (for ME2/3 and DA) is content that advances the story and the lore somewhat. This content that is simply events that apparently weren't relevant  or interesting enough to impacgt the main story isn't what I want.

That said, I'll buy it, and I'll probably be complaining about nothing, since all of ME2's DLC and DA2's has been very very satisfying so far, just not in the way I would prefer.

Yes, Isabela does. Does this mean she has a new cutscene and alot of bonus dialog? :wizard:

Personally I'd rather learn about Orlais and the Qunari from DLC than just from reading codices. :) And it will technically be played before the war breaks out.

Definitely looking forward to playing it!
