Okay, I recently uninstalled this game on my Steam account because I was tired of the unauthorized DLC issue and nothing I tried working, and I re-installed the game using EA's Origin program; and then updated to the 1.05 Beta patch, and that solved the DLC issue.

However, now, my computer crashes; and it's done it twice now. I'm playing as the Human Noble, and the first time was just after me and my Mabari killed all the rats in Nan's larder; and the second time was when my mother introduced me to her old friend and her children, just after that cutscene happened it crashed.

I don't understand this because when I played on Steam, I played well over ninety hours of the game, and not once did it crash; but now I can't seem to avoid this glitch. Do I just need to uninstall it and wait for the DLC issue to be resolved on Steam, or... yeah. 

Sorry for the wave of questions. I just want to play the game I purchased, without hiccups. :/ I hope all the information I provided is enough; if not, I'd happily provide more.

Both versions of the game should be the same in terms of the back end, so there really shouldn't be a difference betweenthe two in terms of stability. I suspect that either something changed on you computer that is giving it hiccups or something did not install correctly. The 1.05 patch has been k own to cause serious increases in loading times, but not outright crashes. How long into playi g is the crashing happening?

The first time was about fifteen minutes in; I explored around the area and then talked to Ser Glmore to initiate the "Mischief in the Larder" side-quest. Just as we slay all the rats in that quest, right when the cutscene started, the computer crashed.

The second time came a day later when I loaded the game again. I made it past that side-quest and continued on my way to find brother Fergus when I run into the mother who introduces him to her friend and two children, and just as I'm given the option to respond to the other woman about her advances at me, the computer crashed a second time.

:/ I just don't wish to play it if it's going to keep crashing, and I have no idea how to fix it without getting the "DLC Unauthorized" error again.
