When Leliana makes her appearence she will mention some of the outcomes of DAO including whether she was in love with him or not
Well I have a question to ask:
Does she still mention herself having a romance with the Hero of Ferelden if the hero broke up with her and possibly started a romance with someone else?
Does she still mention it if the hero if he had a romance with both her and Morrigan without talking to either about breaking up with either ? (http://dragonage.wik...mance_(Origins)) see Leliana and Morrigan

In one of my saves i romanced her but broke up with her before the end and she didn't mention it at all, Isabela will still mention sleeping with her and the warden if you did that though

I hope that if you romanced her you want to hear that it affects the storyline,
I romanced her and in DA2 she says to hawke that she loves the hero of ferelden adn i belive that she is trying to find the hero of ferelden for that reason.
So pehaps in DA3 some romance options will be brought into light.... but:
Bioware shouldn´t assume or make it clear that the warden and leliana has broken up with each other, that is something for the players to decide.

I agree very much with the bolded bit. How a specific relationship pans out, what depth exists or does not exist to it, is where it's open to interpretation (and head canon). With the particular cameo in DA2, the status of Leliana's relationship with the Warden is left very vague - when asked about her association, the bard says something to the effect of "(s)he is very dear to me." Vague, and, in some ways, quite romantic. But open - it could mean that they have amicably split, it could mean that they are dedicated to one another but physically apart, it could mean that they had a fight but are working things out (while the Warden is sleeping on the couch of his/her best friend and eating beans cold out of the can).dsl08002 wrote...

If anything is clear, it's that some strong feelings were, and may still be, present. And that's pretty darn nice, imo.
