The ability to enlarge your character's breasts? Really?  I guess Capcom weren't kidding when they said that their CC was more in-depth than others. Don't get me wrong, I suppose it adds more depth to the CC but if I see a slider to increase "breast" size for a male character, I will laugh (someone's going to rebuke me on this aren't they?) Talking about depth...

And as much as DD looks good. The character models make me sick almost (they are kinda too realistic but I suppose that's good).

Then watch this half naked MALE NPC wearing chain armor that doesn't cover his vital organs.

Hmmm...and here I was hoping for realistic armor.

On the bright side, at least we now know that we can encounter giant enemies freely roaming the world:

lol are you ever happy with any RPG EJD? And also, I don't see what your talking about unless I missed something.

And also its a game, not a middle Ages battle Sim. Though that that guy is wearing is actully damn close to what a Roman Gladiator would have worn. Which is that he looks alot like, who knows, maybe thats what he is.

EJD = Elton John died? True true.

I'm happy with Dragon Age: Origins, The Divinity series, The Two Worlds series, Arx Fatalis, The Kingdom Under Fire series, NWN and Mount and Blade. I'm happy with Dragon's Dogma too but there are "questionable" parts in it...

The thing I'm talking about is in the first link.

Yeah I didn't really see where the boob slider went out of bounds, or where they even really did crap with it, not as much as they ****ed up her back and legs in anycase like she was a retarded Ginger cripple.

Yeah EJD Honestly Elton John is Dead is too long to type at times, or I'm lazy.

Hmm we have varrying tastes in RPG's then, I think out of all of those I only just liked Origins.

Though I do say I like just the huge amount of what you can do with the editor, if someone wants to make huge boobies, or small ones, let em. I mean they come in all sizes IRL. **** let them make something that looks just stupid. I mean think of running around as a fat man with a broken leg and the face of a child. Hell or even just as a child. DA:O's CCer I didn't really mind staying where it was or having a fixed protagonist, as honestly the only thing that differs among any character from anyone in that game, is how ****ed up the face was.

As an aside, I've been told that the character creator also allows you to change your character's *posture*, and the corresponding animations (walking, running, etc). So, as far as I'm concerned, it's awesome. And, frankly, it's ridiculous that every character would walk around at the same height, or the same weight, or -- yes -- with the same breast size... so I'm all for as much customisation as possible. If people want to make ridiculous looking characters, that's their prerogative.

Remember that every NPC in Dragon's Dogma (so I hear) is made in the CC, too. Ultimately, I think the wide range of variety is going to be a good thing. :)

I mean, the game might suck, but from the limited amount I've learnt in the last half-an-hour, it sounds promising.

More options are good. The more options there are, the better the chance I'd actually buy it. As long as no one forces you to use that boob slider or wear half naked armors I don't see the issue.

I don't see what's wrong with having a breast size slider. Women's breasts are not all the same size.

Personally, I'm glad that my female character wouldn't be stuck with huge knockers. I'd rather she have a frame more like my own: tall and skinny...something akin to a 2x4. :D

I never heard of this game, but that video with them fighting that big creature looks pretty good actually. I might be interested in this...after I've played Skyrim for about 200 hours :\\

I didn't realize Dragon's Dogma was PS3 and XBox only. Interesting.

Mortal Kombat already did all that. So over it.

Boob sliders do not bother me as long as an option exists for very small sizes. As others wrote, size can run the gamut from small to large. What I dislike is being *forced* into playing a female character with a breast size that obviously exists to appeal to a targeted male demographic.

Otherwise, let people have at it. Sometimes I want to play a woman with a small chest. Sometimes I want to go bigger. Choice is good as long as it is fair and balanced.

In any case, that character creator seemed decent in some aspects while limited in others. Is there any face or hair customization? All that tester did was show off scars, warpaints, and coloring. Bit disappointing, that.

I guess it's too bad the only options for a female character is a lesbian....

I can already tell it's going to be the kind of game that doesn't support an immersing female character.

Anyone expecting a deep RPG from this game is kidding themselves. It looks closer to an action game with RPG elements than anything else.

Not a P&P player so thats okay to an extent :P

Though right now I'm mainly just keeping an eye on this, Kingdoms of Amalur, and Dishonored, though technically that last one isn't really an RPG. Not many games I care about all that much for 2012.

lololol, no - I'm definitely not. I was maybe hoping for once though, that a female character in a gender-option game would actually make sense. I like playing as females more than males occasionally :[

Oh, don't get me wrong. Games like Dragon's Dogma have their niche. I don't need every experience to involve number crunching and methodical tactical combat. I was partly replying to Montezuma IV, and partly making a statement that this game is less about character development and thought provoking narrative than killing stuff while looking badass.

Okay, now I'm confused. I must have missed something. What do you mean? Is the female character just a skin swap for a male protagonist? If so, then yes that is terrible.

Seriously mountains out of molehills both literally and figuratively.... If don't like don't buy, if something like that makes you use terms like makes me feel sick then maybe best stay off the internet from now on.

This is probably the first time ever I agreed with ipgd on something regarding the boob slider.

From what I have been reading everywhere classes DD as action adventure with none that I saw specifically calling it an RPG and for that reason I feel dubious about buying it. Though has some nice features I will admit such like climbing foes striking specific parts which has an effect.

I'm not 100% sure but the way that sexy woman was cowering behind the manly-figure of that woman (combined with past experiences), probably....

Other than that though, now that I've seen more videos it actually looks kinda interesting...

Oh. I see. I didn't watch the entire video. Once it got to gameplay I closed the tab. It could be a skin swap, which would be bad. Or it could be lazy animators recycling frames between sexes. Also bad, but in another sense. Ulicus mentioned above a player may be able to choose their character's posture and gait, however. It could have also been that at work. Time will tell, I guess.

I'm not happy with this at all. I'm used to mandatory massive mammaries and I fear change. I'll be writing Capcom a letter.

Yeah the game has got awhile yet, I'll hold off judgements till at least November/December. We'll have more info by then. Mainly what I'm doing toward all 2012 releases I might want.
