Don't get me wrong, I suppose it adds more depth to the CC but if I see a slider to increase "breast" size for a male character, I will laugh

What if you want to roleplay a mewbzy rogue ?Image IPB

A fat rogue? Well if the game allows you to have a bent back and a broken leg, then how about a fat rogue who has a bent back and crippled leg? Those battles that we have seen seem epic but such a character design would make the whole game into a comedy especially when you have him/her taking down a dragon.

Then how about the romances? They'd be even funnier. Perhaps we can make the rogue completely paralyzed so that his/her pawns need to carry him/her about.

What the hell does mewbzy even mean? I don't know what I'm more weirder out from. This new word that just got invented on the interwebs or that spider that is outside of my window smiling at me...

Can I sign a petition somewhere?

I'd be signing that. I wouldn't expect deep characters or good writing, but the gameplay looks very good.

Well this article seems to state that the story is very important and that every action you make will have consequences and that there are even different endings. It sounds like the story will probably be heavy.

And I really don't know what Teddie Sage is going on about, the graphics look amazing. Though it's the gameplay that I'm more interested in.

I think they're using their MT engine which is an impressive piece of programming. I've no problem with the boob slider either, doesn't look like fanservice to me. I'll have to sign up over at Capcom and start lobbying for this to be brought to PC.

*googles "mewbzy"*. Turns out I am indeed the first human being to come up with that spelling. Naughty got it though :).

If that's the case, they really should release a PC version.

According to wikipedia (not the most reliable source, of course), "games using the MT Framework are originally developed on the PC and then ported to the other 2 platforms."

Yep, MT ( or 'empty', actually) is a multiplatform engine. And from the looks of it, a formidable one. Because frankly the game looks twice as good as Skyrim, graphically speaking.

I'm buying Dragons Dogma based on one feature alone. You can create a character, let it go out and quest in other peoples games, and when it comes back it will have retained exp and knowledge. Meaning, if you're fighting a boss it'll give you tips on how to beat it, or it can tell if there's a dungeon hidden near by, or a chest with some good loot. That's ****ing insane.

Kinda reminds me of Demon's Souls message system. Players can leave messages on the ground and if you read them there can be helpful tips or well...not. Seeing a room filled with dead bodies everywhere and a message on the ground that reads "this is a safe room" was hilarious to me.

Also when a player died you can see how they died from their blood splatter left on the ground. Most unique multiplayer I've played in an rpg to.

I guess it's too bad the only options for a female character is a lesbian....

I can already tell it's going to be the kind of game that doesn't support an immersing female character.

Why say that a female character only LI option is a lesbian. Thats not true. You get to pick the sex of your main companion and original interviews claimed you got to create their look as well. Further more if I read the interview right the main companion is only romancable if it is the opposite sex. Not to worry for others though as it is confirmed LI are scattered all throughout the world (for all sexualities.) Am I missing something lol?
BTW I read your other comment and they werent trying to make the main character all manly by having the other girl hide behind her. The dark haired gir lis what the game considers your main pawn. They are the companion that is always with you and is suppose to have a close friendship with the character. Japanese dont view such acts as outwardly manly or feminine like that. Its just how they are used to portraying a strong charcter not necessarily manly.
