I disagree. While most elves look terrible, there are a few saving graces like Marethari, Fenris and especially Merrill. And they do have a distinct feel and look to them (facial features and such), the problem is that most look downright strange. If they modelled elven faces mostly like Merrill's or Fenris they would be great.

Also, we are stating opinions. If the only response you can give is the "I'm right you're wrong" kind please refrain from posting. Geez...

I fail to see what about DA2's elves makes them so difference. As if there is not a single human with creepy looking eyes, anorexic as f*ck or a flat, vertical nose.

DA:O elves weren't particularly special, but I still preferred them to the retarded DA2 ones.

Do you like Merrill also have very heavy hair pulling her eyebrows up to make her constantly look surprised overnight? And is your regular facial expression being changed into a look that feels like constantly being able to burst into tears? That cute look feels like she is in pain. Ghehe.

Not to bash him or anything...

not only zevran is ugly he looks good compared to the other elves, huon, orana or the blind keeper, etc,,.. there are much more ugly elves in da2, of course dao had some too, but not as much as da2 did, i got the feeling from what i had seen in da2 about the elves that bioware was just to lazy to redesign them (putting all the effort in the qunari) and then making them just ugly because it was easier then redesigning them and then they (as if it wasnt enough) called them even "distinctive"

Merrill looked hotter in DA2. So did Isabela and Flemeth. But Teagan, Alistair and Zevran did not.

A sight we will never see, unfortunately. Even though the Qunari in DA2 have horns, if you got the Black Emporium DLC, it talks about how Sten was born without horns and looks human, hence his role as an envoy to non-Kossith lands.
