Seriously. I can hardly believe it. The proof will be in the pudding, of course, but nothing could be more reassuring.Perles75 wrote...
"Mike admitted that in DAII, there was too much focus on fighting, and in the future (including DLC) the team wanted to ensure that there were more ways to resolve combat situations than going in all guns spells blazing."
YAY!!!
Heh - I remember I almost fell out of my chair in utter shock when 30 ninjas didn't jump out of a bag in the corner, while visiting the De Launcet mansion in Act 3...
On topic - I'm loving the idea of this DLC. DA2 could certainly do with a few 'lighter hearted' plot elements. Really hoping for some great companion banter too!

Hmm. Hawke dancing... Well, Shepard danced in ME2. Therefore, Hawke must dance--like Shepard!

Hawke dancing with the Shepard dance animation would be hilarious.

Are you sure you couldn't borrow Sheppard's ME1/ME2 dancing animations and hide it in there as an easter egg? (Or better yet, the now-iconic Dancing Turian's animations?)

Also, I saw some comparing it to ME 2. And I agree! definitely Kasumi: Stolen Memories. But I don't care because that trailer definitely got my attention

They've already used Shepard's drinking animations for Hawke, so sure, they could do that as well.

No, they jumped out at you as soon as you walked out of the De Launcet mansion.
I know what you mean, though. I was nervous when it was just a conversation. When I walked outside and the Blood mages showed up I thought "ah, there's my DA2!" Weird how the game just conditioned you that way.
Seriously, though, as much as I enjoyed the more old-school dungeon crawl that Legacy was I am looking forward to something a little more lore/dialogue driven that will give a bit more flavor to the world outside just Fereldan and Kirkwall.

Uhh.. Mr. Laidlaw. Are you going to make a plausible excuse for cirlce Bethany to be involved in the dlc, because of all the sibling fates I just can't see how she can be allowed.
Oh... and good interwiew. Even with the long break down.
Yep, it's covered. In Orlais it's something of a social coup to have members of the circle attend your parties. They do love flaunting thier power, those Orlesians.
so if hawke's a mage, could he/she flaunt his/her magic powers in order to distract the orlesians?

Different dances for all classes. Warriors can shuffle
However everyone knows mages are the best dancers:

1. Will there be another DLC which will bring Tallis into the main game/story, ( with the option of being able to romance her ), or is Mark Of The Assassin the only DLC which we will be able to see her in?
2. .....And if Mark of the Assassin is the only DLC wich will feature Tallis, will there be any more companion DLCs, ( both female AND male, or either one of them ), in the near future, ( was hoping for a female romance-able Qunari, but that won't probably ever happen ), but, it would be nice to see something new being tried out, because ya never know?
3. Will there be any DLCs that will just focus on skill trees, quests, areas, towns/cities and dungeons, ( hopefully big areas )?
4. Last question, will there be an expansion for Dragon Age 2 like Awakening, because I've puzzled for quite some time, I mean, as to what happens to everyone after they go their seperate ways, ( besides Hawke and who you chose to romance, which is something I wonder about too ), and it would only be fair to get an expansion that would answer those questions before Dragon Age 3 comes out?
