I wonder why they've recently put the Normandy in lockdown (you can tell by the folded wings) with the mother of all detours into the Terminus Systems just to pick Vega up along the way.

Maybe it's the artistic license of whomever drew this? It seems rather off-hand to be official.

Ha, at first I thought "What on earth is a mind flayer doing there?"
Then I took another long look at it and the "mind flayer" has 4 arms! In the last pannel you can even make out what seems to be a collector at the left! And another alien with 6 arms! Haha!
Artistic liberty or new cannon for ME3? We'll have to wait to see.
All in all, really loved this little piece. The ending got me foaming for more! Thanks for posting these for us IndigoWolfe!

It's a turian, just at an odd angle and the artist didn't render him at an immediately recognizable level of detail.

Vega seems like the man who adheres to the mantra that actions speak louder than words. Even BioWare has hinted at such. He's the man for the battlefield, not so much on talking or any sort of politics. He's displeased with the news: rips off the TV; gets into an argument: immediately goes rambo on them (though arguably the Batarians started that). I liked it at least. It's a small window in what hopefully will be a great character in Mass Effect 3.
