So Shepard is being held prisoner on his own ship? And Anderson is flying around in the Normandy with a Cerberus paint job... what?!

Shepard turned him(her)self in to Anderson, and Anderson needed someone that would have credibility with the Alliance to guard him/her but not be a plant by some internal faction that would try to kill, hence Vega.

Looks more like the Normandy is on a transport ship in lockdown mode, since its wings aren't spread out and the exhaust ports looks like they've been shut.

Does page 8 make it look like Shepard didn't come willingly? They would certainly have to drag me back to this kangaroo court.

Ooh, very interesting. It seems Vega is quite the scrapper.. and guarding Commander Shepard, huh? Nice build in to ME3.

Shepard likely turned him/herself in to Anderson, possibly as some sort of deal worked out via Hackett, and Anderson decided to take a little detour.  This is taking place mere days after Arrival, after all.

Me gusta, Bioware. I'm very okay with this comic. I feel like it made Vega more handsome than he actually is though, haha. Not complaining but it's interesting nonetheless.

Hmm... Not sure if this has been brought up before but this is the second time we get a reference to "Admiral Anderson". It's possible that if you chose Anderson to be the human representative on the council he resigned and became an Admiral.

Automatic translation.  Whatever they said is the equivalent in batarian, but we can't assume it's literal.

I'm with Marshall on this one. I was personally hoping for another Kaidan or Jacob, but it seems like we're getting a mainstream thug, the kind that wouldn't look out of place in a random merc group.

Also, what's up with the new alien having four arms in its first panel and six in the one after it?

Oh great. The character I was determined not to like goes around kicking the tar out of batarians in his leisure time. This puts me in a difficult position, Bioware.

Just asking and be warned this is semi spoilerish if that.

- I know its a pretty stupid thing to point out and might purely be for symbolism but. Why in HELL is CS in his N7 armor with the chains on? I thought the first thing to do to a prisoner was disarm him... what the hell?

Aside from that, Vega's looking like a badass. He appears to be suffering PTSD since Anderson mad the comment about 'Behl' I believe it was. So it actually might turn into a point that Shepard can (if their sole survivor or Colonist) to get to know him, weird as that sounds. Or at least learn what happened there. And whomever said he looked handsome in the comic, I tend to agree.

85% of each page is over the top combat drawn like a grenade explodes in the center of each picture.. yup it's a mass effect comic all right.

Probably the best way they found to make Shepard reconizable without having to show a gender... or something, maybe the armor is iconic or wtv.

And what is Fehl? I googled it and tried to look it up on the wiki, but nothing. A new world or something?

Anderson made a comment about some incident on a planet called Behl when he first appeared - I can only assume it is/was a planet or station where Vega was once located and as result of it, he ended up on omega to - As anderson put it 'p*ss his life away'.

This was set-up in the final book. Give it a read if you have time, it's about Anderson raping Cerberus.
