Seriously, what is wrong with Vega? If you hear something on the television that is offensive to you and you don't like it, then you turn it off not react violently and rip it off the wall, destroying it. Does he have any deep psychological issues? Insanity? Emotional instability?
Gee thanks Bioware, or giving us a testosterone fueled gorilla who has the mentality of the Incredible Hulk.
Not to mention even though I hate Batarians, they were somewhat justified in attacking him.
I don't want a guy who is incapable of understanding a powder-keg situation in my team.
I don't want a guy who randomly attacks **** just because he doesn't like it.
Go Vega! A bastion of common sense and maturity
The comic did hint that Vega has deep psychological issues from " the incident on Fehl".
The batarians were in no way justified in attacking him. That wasn't even their TV.
If the Fehl incident did in fact leave some psychological scars and gave him PTSD combined with his already short temper then that is fine. His actions make sense as well as the fact that he didn't tell them to calm down (difuse the powder-keg) and basicaly went, "U mad bro" by changing the topic. I still don't want him on my ship. At least Zaaed was passive-agressive, this guy is RAR! HOW DARE THEY ACCUSE SHEPARD! It's like if Conrad Verner finally grew a pair. The Batarians overreacted too but they are already portrayed as demons but...
1. This is Omega. Everyone is a killer.
2. Batarians ahve a dislike of humans... yet they were playing cards with him. Then he goes an antagonizes them by calling a massacre, "bull****" perhaps even claiming it was a good thing and that ticked them off. It's like (ignorant) Americans just after 9/11 being told they deserved it by a middle eastern.
