Here's a hint.

He does look ridiculous.

But he's a Batman so nobody dares to say that.

We have Krogan's for this stuff right?
I find the character one dimensional and he has to much similarities with shepard him or herself, mass effect doesn't need an intro to the mass effect series kinda guy, if you just put an interactive movie (where you get to make key choices) based on the background choice( warhero aka good, sole survivor aka neutral or ruthless aka evil) before a game starts ( without a previous game loaded as starting point) then people who haven't played the game manage just fine, I just hope that ME3 has some reall character development and less NPC characters so you really get to know the characters ( If I am honest I only ever play with Garrus and one of the krogan-Wrex in ME1 and Grunt in ME2, didn't see a point in ever changing that line up, biotics I have myself but hardly ever use them since they're fairly useless imo)

Perhaps Vega got screwed up by the Alliance like Shepard did and that annoyed him to rip off the TV. Really, anyone here loves Alliance? The way they act would make me get lost in some god forgotten middle of nowhere area just to get away from them.

Maybe, he tried to do something along the lines of Torfan, but either he got all his men killed and failed, or he got civllians killed.

wolf99000 wrote...

why do these comics make it seem that shepard went with the renagade choices is it cannon or just comics version of a shepard

as for vega he looks good also seems to have a bad past so alot to get into come mass effect 3

The renegade choices were the default outcome, if the player didn't import their Shepard from ME1.

The reason Vega ripped the TV off the wall was because he was annoyed with the fact that Udina was councillor despite him picking Anderson to be councillor in Mass Effect 1.

:D

:pinched: A strange reaction to the news, that's for sure. I hope there is a reason for it.

What do you mean nobody dares? Most Batman fans will tell you that movie was horrid.

I'm not sure, but the normandy would be the worst place to confine him. The crew are far too loyal to him to let Shepard be placed in the brig - hell, I'm not sure the Normandy SR2 even has a brig. Unless the entire crew had been placed under arrest too.

Its probably just a flash to a random cell where Shepard's being held.

I would say that Shepard agreed to go and Anderson is just getting someone to watch to make everyone think they went and got Shepard.  No one knows of the deal that was made between Shepard and Hackett.

Yes, because those batarians totally didn't notice Shep breaking Kenson out of prison and stealing one of their shuttles in the process.  And they couldn't possibly have reported about any of it during the two days Shep was unconscious, because that would require some sort of ability to communicate over long distances.  And, of course, an entire planetary system blowing up right after that is easy to overlook, especially after a human you know was part of an operation involving the smuggling of engines and guidance gear just got busted out of your secret prison.  And last but not least, you can always totally count on the Council to have your back, am I right?

*ahem*

Batman looks ridiculous in every comic, movie and game.

Though most of the time nobody cares since he's such a badass in most of them.

Do they know its Shepard? or do they know that one lone commando has come to bust out the captured human so he/she must clearly be one of her minions? the whole purpose of going alone was to avoid making it look like a real operation. So unless there's something to show that those Batarians recognized Shepard from a Box of space Wheaties, and they then told the whole galaxy that he was out in there space busting out random humans, I find it hard to believe that anyone could know. Even Hackett says the evidence against you is shoddy at best. Hmm, which I suppose does suggest there's is evidence that it was you.

This is the same way I feel. I view batarians the same way I view North Koreans. Sure their government is evil, but that doesn't mean every one of them is.

Hardly anyone contends that point. The argument is, we're never shown* those batarians that break the mould.

Sure, you can read about them here and there, and Marsh the shopkeeper is about as neutral as it gets, but he's still standoffish with Shepard.

*opportunity to interact with firsthand

To be fair, it is Omega, where even Patriarch is confrontational with you at first.
Also the sick Batarian with his understandable distrust of humans given the events.

I like it.

Simple and effective. Didn't have time to let me down. For that reason this is probably my favorite Mass Effect comic yet.

They're free online. Why would they waste money in selling them in stores when people can get it legally online for free?

Well wasn't that interesting? Not sure what I think of Vega. Seems a bit impulsive and there are hints of him having PTSD, but I think he'll be a welcome addition to the Normandy. I like how he's new to the Reaper Threat, but he's still seen some serious **** before. I've noticed that in terms of games, there's always one character who gives some sort of perspective as to where Shepard is at. Wrex in the first game was a character who had seen a lot more battles than Shepard. In the second game, Jacob served as a mirror of sorts to Shepard, having experienced similar events. Now we have Vega alongside Shepard, mirroring the experienced Wrex working with Shepard.

Can't wait to see more of him.
