I really hope that the situation will be different depending on your choice on who should join the council. I don't want Udina to join the council just because bioware says he will join no matter what your choice was.

Udina's the Councilor. They've used him as such in one novel and two mini-comics now.  It's a done deal.  All that remains to be seen is whether they explain how Anderson lost the job and Udina took over for those who chose Anderson.

They gave a reason in Retribution. Sure, Anderson was an advisor or whatever in the book but I imagine the same thing happening if he was Councilor.

What's that on page 7, last panel?

Looks like a yahg to me.

I thought about a yahg, too. But the one we have seen so far has only one pair of "horns", not two

It's a turian, just at an odd angle and the artist didn't render him at an immediately recognizable level of detail.

I'm not sure if it's a Turian.. the facial structure is so different compared to a regular Turian, even from the side.

Although, I don't think it looks like a Yahg either. It sort of looks like a fusion between a Turian and Yahg. As far-fetched as that sounds.

It's a Tagh!!! :D Quick! Alert the Klingons!

I quite enjoyed it for a the little 8 page introduction that it is. It looks like it was mostly designed to give us a little intro to Vega and generate some interest in him. And judging from the majority of responses here it looks like they succeeded.

Great job, Mac and Dark Horse. March 6 can't come soon enough.

Interrupts bull**** broadcast, pays for the bill, kicks some batarian ass, and clearly has some kind of admiration for Shepard.  I believe I'm beginning to like this Vega person. Image IPB

He beat up a bunch of A-holes, Anderson trusts him enough to Guard Shepard's cell and he has Tats. Yea, all points in my Shepard's book.

Hm. I still dislike Vega. Honestly, he feels like a Jacob clone. And how did Anderson take control of the Normandy? I agreed to go to Earth and stand trial, not be put in irons and dragged there by a former mentor. Maybe I should've picked Udina for councilor (grumble grumble) Okay, probably not.

Not as bad as some of the 8-pagers have been. At least Anderson mostly looks like himself. And besides that four-armed alien (I guess we'll have to accept it as Raloi until stated otherwise since there are no current 4-armed races), most everything else was okay-looking too. Don't see why this comic had to be set on Omega as well. I feel like Omega is detracted from the rest of the Mass Effect universe. You know, the one with dozens of planets and locations? I mean, they could've set this on Illium or something. Somewhere different.

Please no more Omega? Actually, considering the revealed Invasion #2 cover, I guess it might be okay for BioWare to milk Omega for what it's got, if it really is going to be destroyed.

Udina is Councilor in the comic. It says so on the TV that Vega wrecks, right before he wrecks it.

OK, for one, we haven't seen every single known species anyway.  For instance, the vorcha didn't appear until ME2, but they've always been around.  For two, nothing says raloi have four arms anyway, nor do we have any reason to expect they would.

So once again, BW throws the "you must hate batarians" in our face. And another crew member with psychological issues. I wonder if Shepard ever gets sick of being Dr. Phil.

I think that goes to Liara, though killing her mother sure helped the problem, lol

Bare in mind that no matter what service history Shepard has, he would probably have some very heavy sh!t doing for him too.
Colonist - lost his family and friends when Batarians raided Mindoir, probably felt some sort of vengance when the AR was destryed.
Earthborn - abandoned and left to roam the streets
Spacer - Only ever saw one parent at a time, occastionally neither, and kept shifting around.
Ruthless - set most of his company in to die defeat his enemy.
Sole Survivor - Only known survivor of the Cereberus experiment on Akuze.
Warhero - Defended everyone by himself during the blitz. Most likely endured countless losses.

Shepard has his own sh!t going for him.

Everyone has issues, people are acting like the guy was drooling in the corner, screaming. Something went down and he didn't want to be in the Alliance anymore, that's all the comic said. People are jumping to conclusions par usual.

Oh great. The character I was determined not to like goes around kicking the tar out of batarians in his leisure time. This puts me in a difficult position, Bioware.

Well then maybe you should not jump to conclusions about characters?

As Sepewrath says people are jumping to conclusions. Though Vega does have Post Tramatic Stress Disorder and Anderson wanted him for two reasons: So he can 'man up' and get over it, and to guard Shepard's cell. Those are really the only things we can sucessfully draw from this comic.

That and Vega don't like hearing BS broadcasts about Shepard's actions during Arrival.

As others have said, PTSD. Shepard doesn't need anyone on his team with such a weakness, with the gigantic sentient spaceships are destroying everything in sight. Makes absolutely no sense.

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but the line
"You'll be guarding the brig, one prisoner in particular". Sounds like they have a few prisoners how many of the Cerberus crew do you think is left on the ship and whether any of the team are still on the Normandy?

Joker is guaranteed to be in the brig.

I'm fairly certain that Shepard isn't literally on the Normandy. At this point, I think he's in transit to Earth, if not there already. Probably on a classified transport, Batarains want his head on a silver platter, so going along that line of thought I believe that Anderson came to Omega with only a small entourage, not as an official mission, to pick Vega up and make him essentially Shepard's Jailor.

His shirt says 'SF - 03' - I'd like to venture a guess that SF means Special Forces, even if the offical designation is 'N'.
