I am awful but I laugh at most video game deaths. Aside from Ashley and a few others, I always find them funny. They are sooo cheezey to me.

For my spacer I would like to see a scene where Hannah Shepard sacrifices the Orizaba to save the Normandy (taking a hit from her, or giving her time to escape).

Hey, don't laugh. BSG, a sci-fi, did the same thing with Kara and it worked nicely. Granted, ME has no religious undertone, so... meh.

This. Though at the same time, part of me thinks he might NOT die [by VERY slim chances].  I honestly hope he doesnt though!

Not to mention, Shepard WILL most likely have to shoot a teammate based off what's been said. Soooo....the REAL question is: Who you expect to die AND have to kill yourself?
Two totally different situations. One being killed in action, all sacrificial and such. The other - we shoot them. Seeing how theres LOADS of ways this game came be played, the possibilities & combinations of who dies are endless x.x

I am getting a vibe off the VS though. Ash/Kai survived once. They could be up on the robes again.....
But in MY canon playthru - EVERYONE will live!! MUAH HAHAHAHAHA! XDDD *denial*

Liara will probably survive for whatever future games are planned, X amount of years after the current trilogy, as a window into the past as it were.

I think in ME3 all characters have a chance to die including the up to date immortal Liara
I also think some characters like Mordin and Samara will die
Mordin because he his fairly old for a salarian

ME3 companions- I would prefer that everyone could die like in ME2, depends on player decisions and loyality, including Shepard
NPcs-well I have bad feelings about Anders and Hackett. Probably Council this time will die also.

Anderson, he's a confirmd temp squad you get from the start, let's compare that with ME1/2.
In ME1 you got Jenkins... that didn't end so well
In ME2 you got Wilson...Same here
In ME3 you get Anderson following the trend it doesn't look so good

I expect/hope that anyone and everyone can die in ME3 - no more plot armour please - but preferably not all in the same play through.

Although the deaths of everyone we know together with the Reapers winning would be an outstanding critical mission failure - but one that we have to work hard to orchestrate! It definitely deserves an achievement.

I'm with jreezy. Why bother with a bad ending if it's actually an achievement? Should be failure is the default and we work up from there, imo.

Shepard will die in the tutorial and we must choose between Joker or Conrad for the gameplay.
