Everyone has a chance at biting the dust, methinks. Especially Thane, sadly, if no wild magical cure suddenly appears.

You mean as unavoidable deaths? Because Bioware is not *at all* averse to killing LI's.
I'm afraid Garrus is marked for death because so many of us love him and his demise would be a "SH*T JUST GOT REAL" moment. I hope it isn't the case, but I feel we're already being set up for it. The shadowbroker dossier on him is just manipulating us to send Garrus to Palaven on his own to "fulfil his potential." There have also been hints about "intense scenes" being recorded with Brandon Keener.
Bioware, please don't make Garrus' death unavoidable!
I agree with those who think Anderson will die, but hold out hope for Joker -- he survives everything.
