Lets hope there are no rotten twinkies there!
I'd prefer rotten twinkies to escargot, quite frankly.

No...I think we're still in Kirkwall, but the Orlesian influence will be there. Like a European village in the middle of the mountains or something (or New Orleans Square in Disneyland).ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...
I don't think we're going to Orlais.
But my hopes are set on the land of cheeses soon. I have questions, after all...lots of questions.

Psh. You have the answers. You're just holding onto them tighter than your studded bustier.

I wonder when this is going to take place though. I somehow doubt Hawke could get an invitation to a duke's house during Act 1, so maybe Act 2 or 3? Guess we will find out in October.

I think we are. The chat thingy with Mike Laidlaw showed a transition in the map going all across Thedas, though I'd have to rewatch it to make sure. Orlais is a fairly big country, so we might be on the border.

There is some flesh exposed, you know. Are you saying that the answers are tucked in the cleavage? *looks down* Quite the predicament.ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...

Yes, there was also talk of taking companions that know much about Orlais apparently. Plus I haven't seen any wyverns in Kirkwall yet.....

An Orlesian Disneyland, that sounds delightful. Will there be a monorail and a princess ride?
Replace monorail with train, then replace princess with nobleman's wife, then place the wife at the beginning of the train.
...
Those kooky Orlesians.

I think it will be more like a dark ride, but with puppets. And you may get your name embroidered on a nug-hat on the way out.mousestalker wrote...

First the Tome, and now it's this Gem of the Many. I smell something bad..... and it's not the cheese.

Lol... paint the toenails of a wyvern and win a prize?
Edit: Oh poop, no Orlais for us. Just found this on the Official page "you must Infiltrate an Orlesian estate outside Kirkwall"

I was thinking more along the lines of the wyvern being an E-ticket ride. I'll be chagrined if there aren't plush darkspawn in the gift shop though.Macropodmum wrote...

Just reading about the next DLC for DA2 at the Grey Wardens site and it involves an Orlesian Duke. I wonder if he is in Orlais? http://greywardens.c...f-the-assassin/
Its not in Orlais, the map in the dlc shown in the video in mikes pulse interview show that the Dukes Estate is north of the Vimmark Mountains in the Free Marches - Its sort of Near Wildervale

It will be the same as Legacy, as soon as you get to Gamlen's house, you can do MotA.Urzon wrote...

As to why would a refugee get an invitation, Hawke is not just any refugee, he is a future Champion.

I'd think it'd be safe to guess that if you play it in Acts 1 or 2 (pre-Champion mode), Varric managed to get Hawke on the guest list. He knows how to spread the coin and grease the wheels.caradoc2000 wrote...
