I'd think it'd be safe to guess that if you play it in Acts 1 or 2 (pre-Champion mode), Varric managed to get Hawke on the guest list. He knows how to spread the coin and grease the wheels.

Act 2 doesn't need Varric, Hawke's a noble and we've heard that some Kirkwall nobles are invited.

It's possible Mark of the Assassin is the Wildervale DLC (ah, I see someone  has hinted at that above already).  There's a wilderness area.  The banners in the released screenshot with the wyvern have Marethari's clan banner on it (so that elven element goes along with the tree hint on the Wildervale t-shirts).  Maybe the Heart of the Many was stolen from a Dalish clan.

That said, I think his estate with the fountains and hedges might be a mini-preview of Orlesian style.  I was also amused by the crouching harley, hidden quinn assassin.

Doesn't need, no. But maybe I want Varric to be using his guile and wit, and to be paying off some bouncers. Image IPB

Lets hope there are no rotten twinkies there!

I always wanted to try a Twinkie, ever since I saw them featured in that Family Guy episode and in a couple of Cracked articles. We don't get them over here. Beef jerky looks like it'd be nice too.

In regards to OP, it will be great to see Orlais and the Chevaliers and the quest looks like it'd be great fun too.

It might be a Dalish artifact, but i think it has been hinted that the storyline is going to be centered around Orlais and the Qunari. So, the Heart of the Many might just be yet another Qunari artifact that Orlais seem to somehow got their hands on. The Tome being the first, that is befrore Isabela got her hands on it.
