There are some pretty interesting arguments here about romances in video games.

To think that this all started w/ the OP, who is probably an 11 year old kid who recently discovered Cinemax's late night programming and is also and wanted more of that in his favorite video games like Mass Effect and basically posted "Dooood! I just played Witcher 2 and there should totally be moar boobies in ME3 if ME3 wants to be as good as Witcher 2. Boobies make the game lol HAXOR!!!!!!11!!!"

Seriously that's as uncalled for as the suggestion and the posts of ponies.  At the very least the people that have come into the thread and bad mouth the OP discussed the topic at hand or the topics that grew out of the discussion.  Not saying they're right to slag the OP, but they were a lot more constructive than you are being right now.  If your only contribution to this thread (or any, not just this one) is to slag the OP then see yourself out.  As far as I'm concerned you're not welcome here.

You have a point there but that was something I never actually saw. I always answered "Much appreciated" in that convo. Even on my Renegades. However please compare that depiction to this one.  I think there is a big difference in the presentation dont you think?

No such thing... my current G/F use to be on your team years ago. We started off as friends and she was still on your team. Things got complicated rather gradually... the complication was a welcome one by both of us.

So yeah I am telling you I lived the movie Chasing Amy... the ironic part is I do live in New Jersey... i think there is something in the water here. Still together almost 3 years and getting better and better every day.

I do believe once you get to know someones heart... gender may not be an obstacle for some.

Oh look it's this thread again.   The Witcher's "romances" are garbage. Nothing but fanservice for a bunch of adolescent boys wanting to see digitilized bewbs.

You can romance none if so chose, other than the first starting intro where wake up in bed with Triss you have option to not get involved with her romantically any more so or visit a brothel etc. Its much like Bioware's title where don't have to sleep with anyone (if exclude the first 30 seconds of game where merely wake up with Triss). Or you can be a man hoe, it's the players choice.

Witcher doesn't ****foot around though. Clearly if they are gonna have a sex scene or nudity why half ass it? I'm not complaining about the sex scenes in Mass Effect I liked how they were done but to say something like sex in exchange for something means softcore porn? You realize that happens in this day and age hell I imagine it happened quite a lot during middle ages.

Umm the homosexual romances in Dragon Age and Mass Effect is fanservice also. I fail to see your point.

I don't have a problem with it btw but come on DA2 romances were all fanservice and now all of a sudden in ME3 we now have retcon characters who suddenly are gay/lesbian? If Bioware wants bisexuals and homosexuals handle it properly like any straight romance.
