Okay. At this point, I'm livid. I recently installed all the NWN 2 stuff on a computer with windows 7. I've downloaded a mod, and it has a .hak file. But, since 7 completely borks things, I can't find the hak directory. It just doesn't exist. But it appears that I'm the only person in the world with this problem, as I haven't found a single shread of a solution after almost 3 hours of searching the internet. Do I need to make a hak directory? If so how, and where? I can't be the only one this has happend to.
no hak directory

In your "my documents/neverwinter nights 2" folder. The game will make one for you if you delete that folder or it just is not there and just start up the game, so you probably are one of the few where there is just not a folder. But you can make it yourself and it will work fine, a few folders like the toolset plugins folder you have to add in yourself.
Basically, you never touch "program files/atari/neverwinter nights 2"
If you are having an issue, it's likely a messed up ini file in your program files folder, or some oddball hard drive/permission issues.
