Yesterday I finally managed to unlock my final Dragon Age Achievement, getting all 109. Today I go on and find that, while all the icons for the achievements are coloured I only have 95 out of 109. The achievement for completing Return To Ostergar, plus all the achievements for Leliana's Song, Darkspawn Chronicles, Witch Hunt and Golems of Amgarrak state they are all locked and need to be achieved and yet their icons are coloured to say they are. And I know they are because I've done them. In fact I have all the special items that you gain for completing them in all current games and new games started, and my online profile states they are all unlocked. And yet my game states they are locked and yet unlocked.

I did change the email address I associate my Bioware profile with yesterday but that was fine and had no troubles. All the content is installed and working fine.

Has anyone else had this weird problem?

I'm having the exact same problem, and as for you, this only affects the achievements for RtO, Leliana's Song, DC, WH and GoA.

Earlier today, I played through Leliana's Song to unlock the related achievements, and got confirmation in-game each time I unlocked an achievement (got all of them). Since this seemed to work, I started DC to (re-)unlock those achievements as well. Now I've just finished DC, having unlocked Bane of Thedas, Enthralled and Ogre's Keeper, and lo and behold, now the Leliana's Song achievements are locked again... What gives?

Both of you need to see the read first thread for posting instructions. You have not provided enough information for anyone to diagnose a problem. One frequent cause of this problem is having edited the addins.xml to not require authorization (yes, I know EA support was suggesting it for a while. It causes a host of problems, this among them). If not, you can try deleting your profile.dap from the Dragon Age Setup folder. It will be re-created and will sync with the online servers to update your achievements after login (this can take a while, it is NOT instantaneous).

I found a sort of solution - when I start the game I set my log in to be automatic; if I log out and then log back in again, it sees all of the achievements as unlocked. No idea why it's doing that but it works. Just a pain, having to remember to do that each time I log in and play.

I've not done anything to the addin.xml file, I didn't even know it existed. Could the game itself have altered something here?

Thanks for the info though, it's something to try and fix the problem permenantly.

You may have issues with the profile.dap file. It is in the settings folder (MyDocuments\\BioWare\\DragonAge\\Settings) If you delete it then restart the game it will re-create the file (or just move it someplace safe like the desktop). That may fix the issue. Sometimes it doesn't update correctly when you change login information.

Please do not attempt to reanimate the dead, buried, corpses from the graveyard. Anything six months old or older needs to remain buried. Further, you only need one comment per subject, not five.
