Almost everybody knows about the Ish's mission bug if you try to convince him to not risk Aria's wrath.
But for those two people who don't, when you complete the mission in this way, the journal entry for the quest remains active.
Another, less infamous, bug is the outcome mix-up for the Javelin Missiles Launched quest, where the journal says you did the opposite of what you actually picked.
Kim Stolz said of this particular quest's bug, "It's the journal that's incorrect. The game itself is keeping track of your decisions properly."
Does the same premise hold true for Packages for Ish quest?
While the journal may be completely wrong to think that Ish's quest is not complete when it clearly is, is the rest of the game (in particular, the important silt that'll impact ME 3) aware that you did complete the quest, by convincing Ish to drop his task?
And I don't want any "end the quest by talking to Anto" responses. That doesn't answer my question.

I thought the problem for Javelin Missile Launch stemmed from people pressing the wrong button since the screen is apparently somewhat confusing. I am on PC though, and the labels for the buttons you have to press are pretty clear... I don't recall the journal being wrong, but I don't sit around reading the journal all the time. I might review that next time I get a chance.

The journal for the Javelin missiles is definitely wrong. If I press the button labeled "Save the residential area" the journal will state I saved the spaceport and vice-versa.

i don't think anyone but a dev can answer that properly, but i do know the missile mission is really confusing as it's not clearly labelled. first time i did it i got it mixed up and had to reload, as for the journal though i can't recall if it is wrong or not, though when i've saved the city or vice versa i get confirmation of that at the end of the mission.

I don't recall having an issue with the Javelin missile mission but the Ish package is still in my quest list even though I sent him running... much to Jacobs lament.

Yes Ish is definitely screwed up as far as the journal goes if you get Ish to run away. I don't know if the plot flag is messed up (or if there even is one used for ME3).

Journal is bugged, but plot flag is put correctly.

I wasn't even aware that there WAS a plot flag for Ish. What effect does it have?
