My innuendo made clear:....Why are you playing ME2 then if it bugs you so much?....Since correcting the bad writing in Sheps resurrection can not be achieved.
I don't normally think about Thane being cured or sheps death, because if I did I'd be annoyed all the time. It's only when I come on the forums and hear peoples ridiculous requests that I start getting annoyed because people just can't accept that Thane is dying and will be dead within a year give or take. I'm pretty sure every person that ever loved someone diagnosed with an incurable disease didn't want that loved one to die, but guess what? They did. I say get over it, Thane is boned. Unless Bioware once again does whatever in the name to please people. Right I know, Bioware should just give into everything people want so to make the biggest dollar. My opinion is that you can't please everyone so just write your friggin story and those that don't like it too bad. You think authors go on a forum to see what they can do to please everyone? Not that I'm aware of, they write their books and if some people don't like it oh well. Feedback is nice but everything else? Just no.
As for why I play ME2 if so many things bug me: I play it because I have to if I want my choices to carry into ME3.

ME has already shown us the resurrection of Shepard and now your telling me that there is nothing that can be done about Thane's illness? That's truly ridiculous in my mind.
Just because Thane has stated his illness is incurable does not mean that will remain true.
Incurable does not mean untreatable.
You think it's wrong for people to want a better outcome in a game that has the ability to allow it?

Deliberately ignoring RL reference.....what your essentially saying at the end of the day is, if 'bad writing' effects your direct game play you are willing to over look it...but you will be angry enough to not only go off at people with a differing opinion, but also go back and change a facet of your game over a much smaller 'bad writing' issue than 'meat and tubes' being resurrected....ooookay.Computer_God91 wrote...

The bolded part is a contradiction of the statement you’re trying to make. If Bioware decides to save Thane because they want to write their friggin story that way--then people will complain that it didn’t fit in with the story and that it isn’t meaningful because it isn’t death and sorrow and it’s serving a fan base and blah and blah. I do agree they should write their story the way they want. If Thane dies, I will accept it. I just think there could be an option of him living or having his life prolonged. There is a place for it in the lore considering they can obviously bring people back to life. It isn’t a giant leap.

Hm, so we no longer cant post our hopes in a Thane Fan Forum? Just because it annoys you cause you want Thane dead? Mass Effect is a Fiction game. The game has broughten back Shepard , why couldn't they create a cure or a treatment for Thane then? Just because Thane did say he was dying from Keprals, dosnt mean it will stay like that. Its a fiction game, the things that dont seem so possible, can happen.
