It is relevant because you said she was "stacked" when she clearly is not. The picture you posted of your assumed Bethany is not her in-game appearance. Her breasts are about the same size as F!Hawke's and significantly smaller than Isabela's. Someone posted the mesh comparisons somewhere, but I didn't think to save it so I don't have it, but whatever it is you think you're seeing is incorrect. 

If you simply don't like the amount of flesh she's showing then fine, that's your opinion. You should recognize that opinions are not facts.

Back to Bethany - she has chainmail from under the bosom down past the waist because that's where the vitals are. If the chainmail went any higher, that might restrict her casting movement by design or by weight. So, the guts are protected, but the arms and chest are free. And for all we know, under that scarf, she has a nice metal neckband to ward off any would-be garotting (or vampire bites). To me, the outfit is not a big deal either for the cut of it, or the practicality. To me, it's just Bethany's outfit and it makes sense for her and her character.

As for not being able to change companion outfits, there are some mods for that...the Diversified Follower Armors is what I use. It's super sweet and all sorts of awesome. Modding may not be for all (back to personal taste/preference or even just PC vs console, sadly), but there are some options to help change up the game.

Alrighty then...back to your regularly scheduled discussions.

The neck is pretty vital.    I'm also aware of the D & D rulebook.  Not sure who went around distributing it in Thedas, but I assume it was a Chantry plot to convince mages they can't wear armor.

That mod wasn't available when I was playing DA2, unfortunately.

Eh, not really, just stating my preference for context purposes. Generally speaking, there aren't many females in games who I would care to bang in-game, even out of curiousity. I actually think FemHawke, were she a companion and not the player character, is much more bangable, and I might be tempted even though that is not my sexual preference. FemHawke is sexy in ways I find much more alluring than "lookit the goods lol."

I don't see anything wrong with providing context, but what-evs.

But Bethany's breasts aren't exposed. If I had to eyeball it I'd say that a good 60% to 70% of her breasts are covered. She is showing modest clevage. And, as has been pointed out, Bethany's breasts are actually quite small when compared to 90% of the models in game. The only ones smaller are maybe Merrill's and the generic female elves.

But I doubt that. She's just hot and flustered by the fact that she can't romance Hawke's sister - perfectly understandable, as I'd love to put the moves on sweet Bethany, myself.

That what it seemed to me, even without that.

 Otherwise, I think the dress is rather conservative. It adds to the purity of Bethany, as a forbidden fruit. A forbidden fruit in the sense of something absolutely adorable, and not in the sexual sense.

To Show her shoulders, her throat, nothing too revealing with her breast covered. It looks like a beautiful innocent young lady in this dress which fit at a time, and if that's the message Bioware wanted to go, they have succeeded for me.
Oversexualized seems a bit exaggerated, really sweet is better. :happy: Apart from this detail, Bethany is covered from head to toe.

Yes she is hot, to be honest, but that's not because she is oversexualized. I never though that. Only Isabela for me. And it wouldn't bother me at all, that she dresses without pants ( default or other outfifts ), if Bioware didn't force me to play with this clothes all the time and especially during battle.

I understand . But that would be like meeting your sister for the first time when she's a 26 years old Scarlett Johnson.
You did not grow up with her and if you did not know she was your sister you would probably try to date her.

It's just weird that we're supposed to 'know' and have grown up with Bethany but has a player we did not and she's really attractive . It's a bit uncomfortable.


But it's a video game character really . She's not your sister and you never grew up with her.
So who care if you think her boob are epic
