I've been trying to play ME2 for a while now, but i've been really busy... so i popped the Disk in (tried it with Disk 1 and Disk 2), when i click start when prompted, the screen just turns black and my xbox freezes... I logged in with different xbox 360 profiles that i have, and it worked fine, but with my main Profile, i get that problem... Im half way through the game and i seriously cannot be bothered deleting the profile and starting all over from scratch.. and i do not want to miss where the story leads to in ME2... Why is this happening to my Profile? are the save games corrupted or something? Please help...

Edit: I even installed both Disks to my 360 hard drive

How frequent is the freezing on your main Gamertag? Have you tried clearing the cache to see if that helps? Does playing direct from the disc have any effect? A long shot might be that the Gamertag has a problem (might be worth trying a recovery).

It's unlikely to be a corrupt save. If it was then you should at least get to the menu screen, but trying to access your save would be the issue. To me it sounds like very much 'one of those things' when it comes to freezes on the 360; random and no set pattern.

I deleted all the cache and recovered my profile, it still freezes when i click start :(, Thanks for trying though, appreciate it :)... I guess i will just ask my friend about the whole storyline... Looking forward to ME3.

Ah...sorry that didn't help. By the sounds of it you could still play the game on another Gamertag, unless you like to have achievements all on one (in which case it wouldn't help).

All suggestions I have had are above. You'll need someone else with a different knowledge set for other suggestions I'm afraid.

Thanks, I'll probably try Microsoft Support and see if they can help.
