Greetings!

Im just wondering about like... is morrigan and that story part. I kind of got lost in space after the ending of the witch hunter quests and Im really wondering what's up now.

In my opinion it could be... AWESOME!- if we could get more into that part in the incomming dragon age, or playing in a flash back memories of the part after they enter the portal.

I'm pretty sure most of us bought dragon age 2 because we really wanted to follow morrigan and about this " child " and when I noticed there's no morrigan there I was kinda.... yesh.

So I beg you epic creators of dragon age to not forget this very important part of the "forgoten" chapter which is the main plot of dragon age in my point of view.

plax.

Bioware already said that the OGB situation would be resolved in DA3, IIRC.

Personally, however, I refuse to do Morrigan's ritual ever again. I no longer trust her in the slightest, and her giving birth to the freakin' Antichrist can't possibly bode well for Thedas' future - especially if Flemeth gets her hands on the child (since it was her idea to begin with).

well yeah I guess. But like... im curious about what happened in that episode if you understand. its like you're in the very last chapters of a book, and then you lose the 5 last pages and it becomes a dead ending.

For example; That Witch Hunt DLC where you stab her, joining her or that she's going alone. Dont you wonder what happend so? they should " complete " or continue that story in DA:3 or atleast end the curiosity somehow! :D

Oh, of course I wonder. I ponder on it quite a bit whilst playing DA:O and surfing the forums here. DA:O gives you a lot to think about over the course of its story, and long after it even.

Anyway, I doubt she truly dies if you stab her, though it actually seems like the safest option from a RP perspective assuming you didn't do her ritual - her continued existence even without the OGB is a danger, IMHO.

I probably won't kill her on my current run, however, since apparently she still got pregnant from where I nailed her a few times at camp. I imagine that would make a good bargaining chip for her to use to make me spare her life.

At any rate, her story is far from over, as Bioware themselves said. Nor is Flemeth's - and both of their story arcs will intertwine again, I'm sure.

I wouldn't get your hopes up buddy. BioWare has been saying for over a year now that they're not done with Morrigan's story or that fans of Morrigan won't be disappointed with what comes next. But at the same time they've basically confirmed you'll never play as the Warden again and that they'd only "try" to resolve the Old God Baby situation.

Tons of people have been saying the same thing as you've been saying though regarding resolution to Morrigan/the Warden and the Old God Baby story. Ever since Origins came out. Especially considering the lack of the Warden, I don't have much faith BioWare will resolve this storyline to much satisfaction.

I'd love it if we could get some kind of Throne of Bhaal style closure to Morrigan/the Warden/OGB, but I don't think thats in the cards.

In DA2 when I found out about Merrill and the eluvian, I was so excited because I thought the two would be connected, imagine my disappointment. I guess they still could be though. It will be a tragedy if they don't finish this story.

I did the same thing. I had my Hawke in my first game do things completely out of character in order to progress the eluvian story line because *I* wanted to know what questions would be answered. But alas, there was nothing. :(

Agreed. I feel like it's being used as bait to get me to buy the next game, or the next DLC, to see if maybe this time, we'll be given some answers instead of more questions. I am rapidly getting tired of that game, though, and finding that I care less and less.

I recommend reading social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/47/index/1798678/572 onward. Some users pointed out what's wrong with BioWare's current plans and especially that there shouldn't be high hopes for a good ending regarding Morrigan-Warden-OGB. Brockololly summarized it here a little bit and you'll find more to read in the thread linked above.

Wait they said you wouldnt be playing as the Grey Warden but maybe you play as the OGB trying to find out its past or something, or using its powers. something crazy like that lol.

Based on the end of witch hunt, should you have taken the dark ritual, it sounds like the OGB is going to play an important point in the future plot. Morrigan seems to be afraid of Flemeth in some way and she need to prepare the baby for something. I am very interested to find out what this something is.
