Creature Perception causes spawn malfunction.

In my scripting lessons I was spawning groups of monsters via waypoints.  At one point, I tinkered with several of the creatures' properties the script called to spawn.  After doing this, the creatures would no longer spawn. 

After hours of deduction and experimenting I discovered that if you change a creature's perception in its properties to 'PercepRngPlayer' then the creature will no longer spawn via a script.  

I felt it important to point out to people in the know that once I changed the creatures' perception ranges to 'Long' they spawned via the script just fine.

I have no idea at all why this is, does anyone?

To facilitate furture searches, perhaps you should rename this topic to something that describes it a bit more thoroughly. It is a useful bit of information. Thanks for the heads-up.
