Well, some don't like the way he looks, as he does look like a bit of a meathead, but others, myself included, don't like him because of the way he acted in Conviction. In my opinion, he acted like an utter, brainless fool.

lol I just looked up the comic. He does seem like a complete meathead. I see your point now.
Still. I'm gonna give him a chance cause the comics are all a little over the top.

The problem with Vega is that in Conviction, they attempt to portray him like some badass soldier but really he acts like a brainless alpha male jock. He childishly destroys private property because he doesn't like the news (he could have just turned it off), then calls the news of the deaths of 300,000 sentient beings, 'BULL****' right into the face of very angry batarians.

Alot of people are cheering for Vega because the victims happen to be nasty non-humans called Batarians. Now if Shephard had killed 300,000 humans, how would people react? Now I know it had to be done because the Reapers were coming through but if Shephard had sacrificed a human colony instead.....
