Seeing how your profile says you have a 360, might I point you towards Halo 3: ODST? It features Sgt. Nathan Fillion as your squad leader, Alan Tudyk as the pilot and none other than Adam Baldwin as the bruiser. Add to that Tricia Helfer as the captain who commandeers the squad ánd your sergeant's former girlfriend (Nathan's as well!), and you've got a recipe for success. Oh, and Nolan North is in there as well.

The former three core members of your squad are pretty shameless transplants of their Firefly characters as well, so it's probably as close to a Firefly reunion you'll ever get, seeing how another movie is unlikely...

Yep, it's the closest I'll ever get to that Firefly game.  Oh and as I'm typeing this I have it playing. Bushwhacked,.

Probably not since Chambers would be like "Vega wants to see you in his quarters Commander". And even if I never went to speak with him the AI would find me anyway since the Normandy is such a small ship. Where would I hide from Vega? The bathroom?

Exaclty. DA:O had balls in this regard. If you really disagreed with a team mate's stance, they would leave, or you would fight to the death, or kill them. That's the way it should be done. If I truly hate this guy, give me the option of keeping him off my team alltogether.

The only thing I'm not liking about Vega at this point is the fact that we're adding another Shepard fanboy to the squad with Liara, Tali, Garrus, and VS (certified Shepardsexuals). What made the likes of Jack or Miranda awesome was that they didn't worship the ground you walk on right away, you had to earn their respect. I know Shepard is an icon and a big hero in the Alliance, but it shouldn't be a given that EVERYBODY who's human/alliance/a good-guy will love Shepard and have no issues with him at all.

I am curious to know who his VA is, though.

Also, if anyone has such a big problem with him, learn how to ignore things for once. That's how I dealt with most characters in ME2. I simply ignored them. Pretended that they weren't there, skipped their dialogues and only talked with them if I absolutely had to.
