It's nonsensical to get up in arms over optional content.

I hate the Renegade options and think most are for a-holes, but I don't whine about the 'option' to play an a-hole.  This is the difference.

Statistically it is the far more likely scenario as well. If your going to say it's theoretically possible so Bioware should do it" thinking you're in no position to talk about the validity of my argument.

Please quote me where I said that because it was theoretically possible it means that they SHOULD do. Verbatim. Would be highly appreciated.

There is a difference between:

A) "It's theoretically possible so Bioware should do it."

...and...

B) "It's theoretically possible and therefore Bioware COULD do it if they keep continuity. People complaining about lack of continuity really have no grounds to stand on thus far."

I stand with the latter.

Hmm. So pretending you are so superior to everybody you don't have to address their points is an argument now? Go try that in the real world and get back to me on how it works.

To my regret, vicious bigotry probably does work out in the real world, wherever you are.

My mind is blown.

There is a bit of a difference between what a human woman can do to you and what an asari can do to you.  So, theoretically, it's possible to be attracted to the asari without being attracted to human women.

Whole new kind of sex and all that.

So FemShep is in a fog.  Okay.

It does on here as well. After all, your entitled attitude is the reason we have full Shepardsexuality in ME now as well.

Romance. That's all most of us care about. Not gameplay, graphics, or sound. Just romance. I keep forgetting why I come here.

Entitled? Oh, pot meet kettle, hetero male with historically huge advantages in receiving exclusive romantic content involving male PCs and female companions.

Great, whiny fans again. They want to change the sexuality of heroes of the galaxy to suit their pathetic interests ... My bros, Kaidan, Garrus, Thane etc. and the women on Normandy will be the same as before (ME1,2).

End of the line.

See, this is the problem.

Both of you have lousy attitudes.

Here, let me drop my opinion on the matter:

Since NO character has outright said "I AM STRAIGHT," Bioware could get away with making everyone bi, but it would be difficult to impliment believably.  I, for one, wouldn't mind if all LIs were available to both genders (in fact, I'd love it), but only if there was minimal ninjamancing or forced flirting--I hate that sh*t when it's straight.  However, since not everyone is bi in real life, and since that would no doubt sit poorly with a significant portion of the fanbase, it would be wiser to just pick a couple for each gender.

Personally, I'm crossing my fingers for a bisexual Tali, but Ash is my #2.  For m/m, I'll take either Kaidan or Vega.

There. Fixed it for you. There must have been some terrible glitch in the forum that scrambled your two points and placed them incorrectly.

How is it "optional" if everybody else gets stuck with characters that were bisexualized just for the sake of some small, outspoken faction of the people who play this series? That's not an option.

Oh no, I've been called a bigot over the internet... how will I live with myself... the horror...

Disagreeing with poor ideas doesn't make me a bigot. But you strike me as one of those people who cries bigotry when they don't get their way in life.

I'd say they do have ground to stand on, based on what is probable, and what we know of these characters from ME1 and ME2. But many of you seem to be under the assumption that Bioware should do it just because you want it and it's theoretically possible. Why is it that the people who like the characters as they are now don't matter?

All I'm saying is it's possible.  None of us have been brainsexed, however, so it's anyone's guess.

I mean, let's face it, people are turned on by weird sh*t.  I'd bang a turian IRL, I kid you not.

Please explain in what way I'm acting like I'm entitled to anything. And while you're at it, you might as well indulge my curiousity as to why "making a point" seems to equal posting random gifs or placing quotes out of context with you.

You act like you're entitled to the vastly disproportionate amount of straight content you've gotten so far with romances.

I find it difficult to believe that people here find the idea that everyone on the ship is bisexual is game breakingly unbelievable. Is this really the first time you've had to suspend disbelief in order to enjoy the story? The whole premise of technology in this franchise is that Dark Matter is magic!

Vastly disproportionate amount of straight content? Are we in some sort of alternate universe or something?

ReconTeam, seriously, you need to drop the "small, insignificant demographic" bullsh*t. If Bioware aimed to please only the majority, there would be zero customization or player choice at all. Everyone would be a default male soldier and renegade interrupts would auto-engage. Maybe that's how you play, but what about the pure-paragon female engineers?
