Is Vega a dude, because a majority of us killed Kaidan on Virmire?

I suspect that I'll save Ashley because she stays in-character through ME2, but... Kaidan does make more logical sense to save.

I disagree. The only religious party member, and she calls Shepard a god upon reuniting in ME2. How is that in-character?

How is that out of character?

Vega's a dude because he's focus tested. Geared to appeal to that sweet 12 to 14 year old audience that bioware is so desperately after.

...

Because 12 to 14 year old boys like muscular men? Eh...

Personally, Vega is fine as is. You say muscular, I say the only human in all of Mass Effect that has a different body type... (well, there was that one C-Sec officer in the first game who happened to be a bit chubbier...).

That said, he'll be rocking it out with Kaidan... Ashley's personality was... annoying. Kaidan on the other hand, is me... albeit cooler and more okay with killing. Haha

Vega is a dude so the S/S romancers get a new bulky sex toy, thats all.

I suspect this is the plan yes. And in that case there may also be a gal as well for the S/S romancers.

Fine by me, especialy if the new female is also big and muscular.

Now if we got Chun Li here instead of Vega I would have been very happy
At least we would finally have the female version of the tired anghsty soldier cliche.

Vega's a dude becuase of the insecure babies that will be playing the game alongside the hardcore fans
They could never handle a REAL woman like that.

I'd be all for Chun Li. Wouldn't mind Cammy either in fact.

But most of those type of characters are rather onedimensional in their physiques, if we really have to be honest about it :P

I killed kaiden because 1) I needed someone I could rely on to fight to the last breath protecting the bomb
2) I wanted to, and eventually did, nail ashley.
In my 2nd playthrough I killed him again because hes a tool.

I bet you the next new companion is a woman.

Aria is a woman, and she's also a squadmate even though Bioware tried to play off her squaddie face icon as a "work in progress"

The thing is that Aria seems way too indepedent to even work under Shepard. If anything, she seems more to have the type of relationship that TIM had with Shepard in ME2.

Hopefully Bioware would address that in ME3. =]

Eh, I always made the VS choice based on who at the AA tower rather than who I liked.

Not only is it more important that the AA stays offline, but even if the nuke doesn't go off, you'll have an experienced STG team to confirm what's going down with Saren.

Though I have had Salarian survivors no matter which choice I made... Dunno what glitched it.

Actually, I believe more killed off Ashley. And he doesn't have anything to do with your Virmire choice.

I thought most of us killed off Kaidan, because he was about as thrilling as Bao-Dur from KotOR 2.  Actually, wait, no.  Bao-Dur is worse, but Kaidan is still pretty boring.

As for the people saying "Carth", I disagree.  Carth was much better than Kaidan, in my opinion.

In general religious people would be more considered with their use of the term 'god', than non-religious people. A generalisation for sure, but it does seem a bit unusual

Oh, and I liked both Kaidan and Bao-Dur

vega is here to replace grunt, who was there to replace wrex, who never needed replacing.

im more excited for wrexs hour and a half cameo then playing the enitre game with vega. im basing that off of biowares complete streotyping of its characters, so i can already assume ill be using vega as a last resort squadmate.

im not looking forward to comic book characters like samara and jack, and ive already experieced two versions of vega in ME1 and ME2, so why give me wrex 3.0? give my will ferrel, with a gun.

Oh goodness. Will Ferrell for Squadmate and LI!

And forget Cris Cyborg. More Gina Corrano!

He's a mix of Marcus Fenix and Soap McTavish. At least that's how I see it.
